Up to 80% off Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, 80 Days, Starship Titanic, Evoland, and more!

Who doesn't like trips? Whether you are travelling through space, time, gaming eras, or emotional phases, it is mostly about the journey itself, not the destination. Like the up to 80% one we put on our Weekly Staff Picks: Are we there yet?. So go grab your ticket on the cheap and get moving, traveler! There are some marvellous, unexplored paths out there waiting for you to cross them.

If adventure is in your blood or it haunts your sleep, then it's time to lose yourself in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. It is a place where destinies, worlds and states of being collide to form this poignant gem of thought-provoking fantasy and intriguing social commentary.

Does the fever for exotic expeditions grip you like it grips the 20 fearless trekkers of the Renowned Explorers: International Society? Then pick three of them and venture out to unknown regions where you will fight, charm, or even intimidate your way towards mystical treasures and lost cities.

No journey can be considered complete without a hike through the galaxy aboard the ill-fated Starship Titanic. Puzzle out the absurd behaviour of its strange crew, enjoy the intoxicating wit of author Douglas Adams, and try to fight the urge to strangle that damn parrot.

Fill your backpack with provisions, a yearning for adventure, and your favorite games from our Weekly Staff Picks: Are we there yet? — then hit the wondrous highway of wanderers. It will be difficult to leave any game behind, with the likes of 80 Days, Evoland 2, and The Longest Journey fighting for a spot by your campfire. The promo will last until February 12, 10:59 AM GMT.

I'm not sure but i think it hasn't been on sale for less than 50% off yet.

not really. It makes me angry, although your experience may differ.
It is a good game, of course.

Thank you for your answer. The price in the promo isn't high ... so is it worth it than? Or is it really that frustrating, that you pick it up, play 5 minutes and never touch it again?
Looks like the Evoland 2 promo rolled right into this one.
Which is handy, I'm in recovery so a little extra time to think about it is useful.
Is there any chance to ever get the German version of The Longest Journey?
It looks like someone at GOG is a fan of Shrek: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=basofea2UEs =P

I was hoping it'd be this.

Nope. The highest it has gone is 50% (once in the Winter sale and another one now).

My personal experience was maybe far from frustration but far from relax too. I am really not sure what people consider so good about it. I tried it two or three times, but I don't think I played more than an hour in total. I really regretted spending money on it .
I expected a game where I could relax and fly for hours over procedurally-generated alien landscapes... what I got was short and irritating sessions of arcade flight over almost the same terrain over and over again (mind, that I played offline) with tight and absolutely unforgiving controls.

Once you get into the game, you'll not put it down for a while. There is a decent amount of content, however you might not think so at first.

It's not so much frustrating... just annoying that you get so far in a level and then BAM you're dead. Sometimes you can't help dying, and sometimes you get annoyed because you could have prevented it... over and over. Overall, it's a very nice game.

The price is a steal, but I'm glad I bought it at full price :)
edit: oh and much like the person above me stated, it's quite arcadey. Be sure to have your game face on.
