40-75% off Toren, Long Live the Queen, The Marvelous Miss Take, and Anna's Quest.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. So we did. We put a discount on it. Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a set of four fantastic titles featuring some of the strongest, most captivating female protagonists from 40-75% off.

Time flies in Toren, an experimental puzzle-adventure. Moonlight is the chosen child, the one destined to unlock the mysteries of a dangerous, ancient tower. She sets off on an adventure against all odds, but as she climbs the tower they both begin to change, and grow older... You'll accompany Moonlight on her greatest adventure, and stay by her side until the very end.
Long Live the Queen! May her life be easy, may she see nothing but peace! As if. A Queen's life can be complicated, particularly when she's fourteen. Long Live the Queen is an exceptionally challenging interactive novel in which you'll help guide the young princess to her rightful place on the throne. But peril awaits at every corner, and most of it leads to a gruesome death. Only the strongest, most intelligent will survive this courtly intrigue.
The Marvelous Miss Take will snatch your wits away, plus your wallet, and your valuable portraits. Quick wits and even quicker reflexes are a must in the title that turns stealth gameplay on its head. Wandering guards determine their paths on the fly, cameras keep constant watch over everything, and should you get caught - escape is your only option. But you can handle all that, easy peasy.
Not all children's stories are for kids. Anna's Quest is the troubled story of a psychic child locked in an evil witch's lair. She must be strong, courageous, and cunning to escape her prison and find a cure for her sickly grandfather. With great animation, voice acting and puzzle design (and a talking teddy bear), there's no reason not to dive into this unusual world.

Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a collection of four titles with four fantastic female protagonists up to 75% off. The promo will last until Thursday, October 15, 9:59 AM GMT.

Protoss: I would love to see another single lady: Cate Archer! :-)

ryanderoche: I agree. No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 were bloody awesome games!

itchy01ca01: Come out, come out, wherever you are, misogynist gamergaters. Come on, you know you want to.

ryanderoche: I know I'm probably asking for trouble for saying this, but is gamergate still going on?
Main things have been dealt with for "GamerGate" to be over. The hashtag goes on but that's just how hashtags are. The group has morphed into a watchdog. If the "Progressives" and SJWs would stop talking about us, we'd be playing vidya but that's how the internet is I guess. Also, drama has moved from weekends to Wednesdays and Thursdays from the look of it. There's still the folks that want to keep things going just to destroy older media and sites but rest of us are just signal boosting new media and focusing on that and projects like Solution6Months ( another hashtag, worth looking through IMHO ).

Sorry, didn't see a more in depth response here yet so thought it best to just get that through. :)
I Don't get it.
I can get 55% off, since I already have one game of the bunch.
HOWEVER, in the remaining bundle, there is still
"Toren"
and
"Toren Deluxe Edition"
It is obvious, that nobody would buy both of the versions, so why include
each of them in the bundle?
Also, the "select more to save more" slogan doesn't seem to apply, as no matter how many of the titles I select, the prices don't seem to change.
Paradoxically, When I select ALL items, it says, I'm only saving 57%, and when I deselect all, but the one I already own
(Long live the Queen), it says I'm saving 75%.
This is confusing.
Yo, gOg, I'ma let you finish, but the Back-to-Back to Old-School was the best Weekly Staff Picks promo of all time. OF ALL TIME!
interesting, can't await the girls pajama party staff pick!

can anyone one compare marvelous misstake with metal gear solid, did someone here play both?

You talk about progressives as if they were the problem in the first place. Nice try, fool.

What made you think this is a bundle in the first place? Not every promo uses the "select more to save more" concept (thankfully!), and I don't see the slogan on this one.

You get in a bunch of videos that are, by their basic nature, demeaning to women and then try to cover for it by having a promo of "strong" female character games. :LOL Political correctness is weak, lame, and worthy of contempt..way to go!

Or to see her die repeatedly, in every playthrough I had of this game. Forget about saving the kingdom from an invasion with the power of music, taming the Kraken or uncovering the murder plots of your disgruntled nobility : Keeping your friend Brionne out of trouble is the real challenge of the game -_-

I dunno ... personally, I think its great that GOG publish some slightly erotic titles. But as the same time, this also reinforces the reactionary 'boys club' thing that plague the gaming media. I think it makes sense for GOG to counter this with showcasing some games with female protagonists.

'Political correctness' is exclussively used as a slur. Look at it this way: Every media communicate various values, good or bad. Political correctness just means that you acknowledge that good values are preferable. Only a full-blown nihilist can truly be against that.

Yeah. Putting these releases and this promo back-to-back is somewhat awkward, but it looks like they overall aim for balance. I kinda like that.

catpower1980: Yep, I know that, that's why I think the "single ladies" thing is puzzling. I guess it must be a reference to a song or a movie but all in all it doesn't reflect the promoted games well. But well, it's just nitpicking as usual :o)
It is indeed a song reference.

Geez, on one hand we have Beyonce, on the other hand the Chipmunks...

I'm glad I only listen to electronic music and 80/90's stuff :o)

Well.... I have a tiiiny issue with this.

I know more women that like/play erotic games than guys that are interested in them and I know more guys than I do women...so I wouldn't say "boys' club" is very accurate.
