40-75% off Toren, Long Live the Queen, The Marvelous Miss Take, and Anna's Quest.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. So we did. We put a discount on it. Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a set of four fantastic titles featuring some of the strongest, most captivating female protagonists from 40-75% off.

Time flies in Toren, an experimental puzzle-adventure. Moonlight is the chosen child, the one destined to unlock the mysteries of a dangerous, ancient tower. She sets off on an adventure against all odds, but as she climbs the tower they both begin to change, and grow older... You'll accompany Moonlight on her greatest adventure, and stay by her side until the very end.
Long Live the Queen! May her life be easy, may she see nothing but peace! As if. A Queen's life can be complicated, particularly when she's fourteen. Long Live the Queen is an exceptionally challenging interactive novel in which you'll help guide the young princess to her rightful place on the throne. But peril awaits at every corner, and most of it leads to a gruesome death. Only the strongest, most intelligent will survive this courtly intrigue.
The Marvelous Miss Take will snatch your wits away, plus your wallet, and your valuable portraits. Quick wits and even quicker reflexes are a must in the title that turns stealth gameplay on its head. Wandering guards determine their paths on the fly, cameras keep constant watch over everything, and should you get caught - escape is your only option. But you can handle all that, easy peasy.
Not all children's stories are for kids. Anna's Quest is the troubled story of a psychic child locked in an evil witch's lair. She must be strong, courageous, and cunning to escape her prison and find a cure for her sickly grandfather. With great animation, voice acting and puzzle design (and a talking teddy bear), there's no reason not to dive into this unusual world.

Vythonaut: You and a thousand others... Sadly, it won't happen. :/

Grargar: Indeed, it is destined to remain unreleased just like Eye of the Beholder and System Shock.

Yeah, another two games lost in eternity...

IronArcturus: How is that Marvelous Miss Take game? Is it made for kb+mouse or a controller?
I've played it on my laptop with a touchpad, so mouse controls should be no problem. Not sure if it actually supports controllers though.

In addition to Leroux's answer above re: k+m, some chrome plugin I have indicates full controller support.

Oh, and it also indicates windowed mode, as that was the follow-up, right? :)

The ladies of GOG: all of them are fictional.
I can't help but wonder how much The marvelous Miss Take looks artistically like Evil Genius, despite coming from an entirely different developer.

That is a shame. I would really like to take the wonderfully attractive Miss Sophia Take somewhere nice and show her a few wonderful things.
On second thoughts this is probably for the best, she does seem just a little too light fingered for my liking.
;-p
Would be great if GOG had Anna's Quest with German audio. Daedalic games usually have better voice acting in the original version.

edit: hm, appears this is an Australian game so the original is probably in English. I read some complaints about the English voice acting being annoying so I thought it's like with A New Beginning where the German version is drastically better than the English version.

Is there even a version with German audio? If there is, then it's probably exclusive to retailers, as not even Steam has it.

Just noticed that the developer is based in Australia so English is probably all there is.
Picked up Toren on offer now and Huniepop on release and enjoyed both. I've already got LLTQ as well and would certainly recommend that also.
