40-75% off Toren, Long Live the Queen, The Marvelous Miss Take, and Anna's Quest.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. So we did. We put a discount on it. Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a set of four fantastic titles featuring some of the strongest, most captivating female protagonists from 40-75% off.

Time flies in Toren, an experimental puzzle-adventure. Moonlight is the chosen child, the one destined to unlock the mysteries of a dangerous, ancient tower. She sets off on an adventure against all odds, but as she climbs the tower they both begin to change, and grow older... You'll accompany Moonlight on her greatest adventure, and stay by her side until the very end.
Long Live the Queen! May her life be easy, may she see nothing but peace! As if. A Queen's life can be complicated, particularly when she's fourteen. Long Live the Queen is an exceptionally challenging interactive novel in which you'll help guide the young princess to her rightful place on the throne. But peril awaits at every corner, and most of it leads to a gruesome death. Only the strongest, most intelligent will survive this courtly intrigue.
The Marvelous Miss Take will snatch your wits away, plus your wallet, and your valuable portraits. Quick wits and even quicker reflexes are a must in the title that turns stealth gameplay on its head. Wandering guards determine their paths on the fly, cameras keep constant watch over everything, and should you get caught - escape is your only option. But you can handle all that, easy peasy.
Not all children's stories are for kids. Anna's Quest is the troubled story of a psychic child locked in an evil witch's lair. She must be strong, courageous, and cunning to escape her prison and find a cure for her sickly grandfather. With great animation, voice acting and puzzle design (and a talking teddy bear), there's no reason not to dive into this unusual world.

Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a collection of four titles with four fantastic female protagonists up to 75% off. The promo will last until Thursday, October 15, 9:59 AM GMT.
Well that's awkward. Most of those "single ladies" in that bundle are....a bit young to be worrying about men.

Juuuust saying.

Other than that, not really seeing anything of interest in this one. Gonna have to sadly pass.

Also... that song needs to die in a fire. >_>

Yup, that's a little awkward. Especially after the shitstorm of last week's 2 releases which will give most people a wrong idea of the term "single ladies", that title is somewhat clumsy ^^

pimpmonkey2382.313: There are single ladies here?

Senteria: There are none, and if there were I don't see a reason for any of them raising their hand and getting bombarded by messages afterwards :P
I'd say they bought their games quickly and ran for the door :)

I just bought Toren and I'm headed for bed (no relation between the two events I just need sleep in order to work, in order to buy games here)
How is that Marvelous Miss Take game? Is it made for kb+mouse or a controller?

I wondered about the same thing. A quick search revealed that it is designed to be controlled with a mouse. Which, for me, is a good thing. I'm a bit tired of PC games that try to act like console games.
Still not sure why GOG has so few games on sale during the week.

It's a fun little game. It's not a very deep stealth game, and the story is barely even there, but what is there is sound and makes or some fun gameplay. The levels are well designed, and it makes or great "coffe-break game" as the levels are rather quite short. Me only complaint is that to progress to the next chapters you have to replay the same levels multiple times (albeit with different characters, who have diferent goals). And it controlls perfectly well with a keyboard.

Nothing for me in this promo. More money saved for the forthcoming fall sale. :D
low rated
Come out, come out, wherever you are, misogynist gamergaters. Come on, you know you want to.

I agree. No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 were bloody awesome games!

I know I'm probably asking for trouble for saying this, but is gamergate still going on?

Nice promo on a few newer-to-the-catalog games. Thanks GOG! May pick up Toren myself.

It's way to stupid and pointless for the Internet to just let it die.

Indeed, it is destined to remain unreleased just like Eye of the Beholder and System Shock.
