[brokendisc]Commandos 2+3 ever getting non-English audios?[/brokendisc]
I already bought DD Trilogy long ago but now i got a game just so i can give it to my wife. She's enjoying and loving it very much! Thanks GOG! <3
I want to say, if you feel pushed to buy a game to get Double Dragon, check the reviews first. It's awful.
I've been on the fence about Witcher Adventure Game for years.. 14kr is a pretty good price though. So.. what's the verdict? Does it suck?

AndyBuzz: So aside all the Galaxy malarkey, is DD trilogy any good? Does it deserve the low score that it has?
I played it in co-op with a friend, and we had a lot of fun :) While the games themselves will probably take 20 minutes each on a lower difficulty with infinite lives, we got a lot of hours from playing through them on the highest difficulty. It was a good challenge, but not always fair (keep in mind that it had to take your quarters). There is a wall you have to pass near the end of DD1 & 2 that will push out on certain places and insta-kill you. This is RNG, and sometimes you are lucky, but many perfect runs were ruined as that wall devoured all our extralives. If you can get past these artifacts from the arcade-era, it's a pretty fun co-op beat em up.

MadalinStroe: Unless there's a phase 2 for this sale, I'll only be getting Raiden 4, which in a rare turn is cheaper on GOG than on STEAM..
I noticed that too, but the Steam version also has 47 achievements that (according to the storefront page here) don't appear on the GOG version...which still leaves me on the fence.

Have you read them? Number of starts tells a lot about Galaxy and GOG policy, but nothing about the game itself.

I know, I don't have a problem with Galaxy, in fact I like it. There are a few reviews about the game, and a short one from me should be published at some point. To make the story short: bad controls, missing sound effects, suspicious collitions, unconvincing appeareance, an awful "modern" energy bar, overall it has an unconvincing feeling. It does not feel like playing the classic. I can't see the reason behind this operation if not money.

Surely, just some achievements aren't worth paying extra. Save your money, buy more games. ;)

If just removing achievements, would allow more STEAM exclusive games to be sold cheaper on GOG, I'd be happy camper.

Heh..good point! I never seem to have trouble buying more games, though...whether I have the money or not! :)

I normally don't care about achieves, but I do love a good bullet hell / shooter, and the achieves provide another way of setting benchmarks. I keep going back and forth about it, but I'll probably grab it on Friday. The surprise Spellforce 2 additions yesterday were instabuys for me, so they took my money.
Just learned that Pajama Sam is on sale. (Still needs other language options though)

That's my question as well.

Wondering the same. I was about to make a purchase, then noticed it disappeared.
Perhaps it has been already closed. Their "never-expiring" codes expire after one month, so I suppose it's fine that weekly offer ends on Thursday... ;)
