Shadow Tactics is fantastic if you haven’t played it yet and like the concept of a tactical stealth game. I had a blast.

The Wadjet Eye games are a safe bet if you like point-and-click games. Gemini Rue is a favorite of mine (a noir cyberpunk adventure). I also especially recommend the Blackwell series for the detective angle, and Technobabylon if you favor sci-fi.

Agree. If anyone's into Epic Games freebies, this game was offered there.

Also, Streets of Rogue is very fun to play, more so with a friend. Skeak your way to complete missions or blast every one on the screen...
whats a false indie gem?

Anyway, Streets of Rogue is quite fun, and for the love of everything holy - buy Creeper World 4.

Indeed. Both Shadow Tactics and Hollow Knight are among the best games I've played in the last couple of years. Cannot recommend them enough.

I got Shadow Tactics via Epic, but liked it so much that I also bought it on GOG. Once my backlog gets a bit more manageable, I will definitely buy Desperados 3, from the same developers.

Is the Relics of the Past DLC worth it for Monolith?

I think even if you aren't into point and click, it's really worth it giving wadjet eye a chance. I had never finished a point and click game until i by chance tried some of theirs. It can be a bit difficult getting used to this kind of gameplay but it's rewarding.
Gemini Rue was great indeed!
@Gog staff I just don't understand you .

Why isn't Iratus: Necromancer Edition on sale ?

Indeed. It is like Commandos, but modernized and in the Tokugawa period in Japan. Really nice. The three dimensions are very well used.

Unavowed seems to be interesting.

Same here. Not my favourite genre, but theirs are among the adventure games that I enjoy. They do them really well. Techn obabylon has awesome looks and music, to name one title.

Been looking at Hollow Knight for a while, wondering if it's a game that I may like. Saw it on offer now, so I bought it.

Well, I tried. Many times.

I use NoScript for security, and enabled one domain after another, even some dodgy-looking ones. Nope, cannae do. Not possible to pay. The field with payment details refused to show up. This has always worked before.

In the end, as a last resort, I even unbanned Google. And now the bloody payment field showed up. So apparently now it's impossible to pay for anything (with the Visa option at least) on GOG without letting Google spy on it. WTF?

Looks like it finally got through, and I've re-banned the Google domain, so here's hoping the game is actually good.

(and I keep getting sad about GOG getting worse and worse by the month. It was such a glorious place. Many years ago  )

You've complained about every sale for weeks not having games you're interested in.

Swissy88: You've complained about every sale for weeks not having games you're interested in.
Maybe not every sale but I have shared my opinion in a few of them. The sales are one subject, but the selection of games on gog is also part of my hopes. I can only re-play the games I've already purchased so many times before I get bored. I just want some more choices.
