Oddly, "Slay The Spire" (2019) is not a runner.

jjen1987: Indeed. Both Shadow Tactics and Hollow Knight are among the best games I've played in the last couple of years. Cannot recommend them enough.

I got Shadow Tactics via Epic, but liked it so much that I also bought it on GOG. Once my backlog gets a bit more manageable, I will definitely buy Desperados 3, from the same developers.
Definitely recommend Desperados 3 if you liked Shadow Tactics. It's got style and there's just a lot of game there.
A Short Hike and Hollow Knight are two of my all time favorites.
Always meant to pick up Shadow Tactics. I heard it's kind of like Commandos but without the absurd difficulty.
A really good sale. I can recommend picking up MarkOfTheNinjaRemastered. It took a long time for that update to find its way to the storefront, but the remaster is very well done anyways. (a 720p drawn art masterpiece was updated for 2160p; I wish this would happen for Braid as well!)

Edit: Woooh, just took a look at pcgamingwiki: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Braid_Anniversary_Edition

There is actually story there as well. How the characters get together. Not half bad.

Pangaea666: So apparently now it's impossible to pay for anything (with the Visa option at least) on GOG without letting Google spy on it. WTF?
Since GOG added the option to pay with Google Pay, you *MUST* allow scripts from pay.google.com or you will not be able to pay. That you are not going to pay through Google does not matter.

So that is how it's all connected, huh? Total madness. Some people actually try to protect themselves from the mass-spying of those bastards.

I still have to play the base game I own on Steam so I don't feel the urge to "update". And there's a few games here I own and I haven't completed already. My empty pockets say thanks for a not so compelling sale.

Wasn´t it a free upgrade on Steam as well?

I don't think that people who owned the classic one got the Remastered for free. I didn't.
For Braid, it forces me to play in Italian so I don't want to play it. I might consider the Anniversary edition if they correct that and don't ask an absurd price for a 12 years old game.

It's not an upgrade, it's a remaster. I said to upgrade in the sense of getting new graphics buying the remaster.

I don't understand, the upgrade costs 4 euros for me. Maybe I missed an offer? :)

I found the explanation: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_mark_of_the_ninja_remastered_34c2b
"If you bought Mark of the Ninja Special Edition or Special Edition Upgrade on GOM.COM in the past - you will receive the Remastered version of the game for free."
Well, I guess that´s fair; as the Remaster is based on the SpecialEdition.
