Plokite_Wolf: ...many of these games were made outside France.

Heroes I-IV, Might & Magic I-IX, Shadow Watch etc. were made in the US, Far Cry 1 and the Settlers series are from Germany, Prince of Persia post after the first three was from Canada...
And Pendulo Studios is Spanish.
Deck13 is German as far as i know.

Yes, but it's published by a French company, like a lot of the non-French-developed games that are part of this sale.
For those wondering, most of the games on sale are published by Focus Home Interactive or Ubisoft, both French publishers. For example, the three Runaway, Next Big Thing and Yesterday are from Spanish developer Pendulo Studios, but Focus Home Interactive holds the publishing rights.

Bad timing, gog, bad timing.

Life is Strange and Plague Tale are great though, get those!
Very strange. Little Big Adventure series not on the list.

Good point, but the argument is still somewhat valid since for many older games, the rights have been bought way after the initial release.
And don't get me started about the "near the river Seine" bit.
I wasn't even aware some of these were French. In fact, I was sure Battle Isle was German. Not that it really matters. The only game I remember as distinctly French in origin was Another World, and it's not even in this sale.
French games sale but no Silmarils / Coktel Vision? I'd expect at least Ishar and Goblins to show up (not to mention that seeing Inca and Metal Mutant released here would have been great).

idbeholdME: Thinking about Greedfall. Been a while since I played a bigger RPG and I quite liked all 3 of Spiders' previous games.
Be prepared to hear a lot of things like "Things are about to get dicey!" or the good ole "A bit of poison on the blade!"

Granted, I quite enjoyed the game, and it is definitely Spiders's best game so far, but I really would have liked an option to turn off the party NPC chatter for combat because you'll be hearing those same lines over... and over... and over again.

You do have a good point as well. But honestly if Gog were to take that into account they would have to allocate someone to devote tens of hours looking into this stuff. Better just to pretend those situations don't exist and push the promo.

As for "near the Seine", first one has to define "near". How far does one dev/publisher can be? In the end things get so confusing that I give up and consider "it's in the same country" an acceptable answer.
And how long do we have?
