Five bundles of timeless masterpieces.

Once upon a time, in a digital distribution platform not so far away, a legendary sale began…
It had Jedi and monkeys, dogfights and talking dogs, space cowboys and fedora-clad archeologists.
It ain't no fairytale, either: the Disney Completion Sale is very much a reality, so gather round and let's see what it's all about!

We've broken up this impressive catalog into five thematic bundles: Intergalactic heroes can complete the STAR WARS Blaster Bundle for 70% off or grab individual titles like X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter and Rogue Squadron 3D for 50% off. Then force-leap towards the STAR WARS Saber Bundle for a 77% completion discount or pick out masterpieces like KOTOR or Jedi Knight Academy for 60% off each.

If pointing and clicking is more your thing, make sure to add some Classic LucasFilm Adventures to your inventory: Sam & Max Hit the Road, LOOM, Monkey Island SE, and more - each is 60% off but get them in a bundle and you're looking at a whopping 75% off.

For some additional Disney Variety check out TRON 2.0, Armed & Dangerous, Outlaws, and the rest, going for -60% each or -75% as a bundle. Last but not least, don't forget to reach for the Iconic Movie Platformers who go for -30% each or -50% when bought all together.

The Disney Completion Sale will last until October 9, 10 PM UTC.
So there will not be any other weekly offer ? That's sucks .

Neat sale, but I wish it involved some new releases. Still waiting on the Lego games Disney published, the Force Unleashed games, the original Battlefront, etc.
Even though the saber bundle says up to -77%, each game is still 80% off.
The platformers are still a little too pricey for me but I'll take the opportunity to pick up the other handful of Disney/LucasArts games I don't own.

ReynardFox: Oh, another one of these take everything or get shit discount sales. Pass.

Also for a split second I thought Disney had delivered some new games... Now I'm doubly disappointed.
I think Disney ties GOG's hands on that. Not much GOG can do.

Not anymore.

muntdefems: The 'up to -80%' is now 'up to -77%'. Is this how this promo works, GOG? Are discounts gonna be slowly reduced tiny bit by tiny bit until they reach 0% next Monday? :P
And the 77% already now is reduced to 76% in my local currency. ;P

ciemnogrodzianin: My wishlist filtered by "discounted" does not show games from the current sale. Bug bug bug? ;)
Actually none of the games is marked as discounted even in the global game list. No new sale without new bugs. :P

That's amazing, it says 77% off on the page but actually selecting a game (or all of them) makes it 76% off.
Why are the Variety Bundle games not advertised on the front page? I almost missed that Tron 2.0 is on sale with a fair discount for a change and thought this was just about all those Star Wars games and overpriced platformers ...

Will probably pick up TRON 2.0 since previously I only owned an illegal copy given to me by somebody. Just gotta be careful with my money, even small amounts like $4

Panaias: Anyone else notice a pattern in the disney platformers' game covers? I just observed that the 'good guy' is always at the left, with their head turned to the right, looking at a 'bad guy' who looks back at them. What impresses me most is that the good guys look angry & frustrated, while the bad guys are calm & sneakily staring back.
It seems like it was made by the same person. Someone that loves the contrast between the hero and villain.
I already got everything but 2 of the games on offer. I can't imagine Stunt Island has aged well at all, and I expect Armed & Dangerous to have very similar tone and humor to Giants, a game I'm not particularly fond of. I guess I'm good then.

Have you actually checked the discount with a calculator? (or mentally, dunno about your mental calculation prowess :P)

Most of the time (it happened to me earlier today, for instance) the discount is something like 76.96% but GOG's website code must convert the value to an integer and they end up getting complaints from their customers about it.

Of course, if they used a rounding function I'm pretty sure they'd then get complaints from people complaining that they are being scammed a few hundreths of a percent in their discounts. :P
Many games listed on my want list. Pity I don't have much money this time around. Oh well....

deonast: I might get the Disney platformers. Since out of all of them they are the only ones I don't own. At 49% off for the bundle that is probably the best I'm going to get considering it is Disney. Still feels a bit pricey. Though I noticed I don't have Tron 2.0 so might pick it up.
I am debating whether to get them. Really would like to play them again after all those years. But these games are 20+ years old so even with the discount they seem pricey.
