Listen to the whispers, not the shouts.

It is believed that certain games hold such mystical appeal that secret societies are formed around them to protect their unique qualities from the unappreciative masses. Thankfully, they are not very good at their job. With little effort, we managed to infiltrate their ranks and snatch several of those cult classics to share with you in this Weekly Sale. Of course, it helped that several of our people were already members.

A pioneer of the FMV adventure genre, The 7th Guest remains a chilling, challenging, and fascinating journey through the creepy mansion of the eccentric toymaker Henry Stauff.

Remastered for modern audiences, Battlezone 98 Redux remains one of the most innovative RTS/FPS hybrids around, with a fascinating sci-fi spin to the events surrounding the "space race" of the 1960s.

The Weekly Sale ends May 28, 10 PM UTC.
Too bad that Reah&Schizm are not 90% off (i wonder why?)
I already own AvP Classic here, the Shelter games on Steam except for Paws, and the only one that interests me is Pan Pan.
Of interest and note (historical and price wise):

1) Shelter 2 Special Edition has a new historical low (90% off - formerly 89.5% off if one bought the base game and upgrade seperately)
2) Entomorph and Thunderscape match historical lows (75% off) and have not been on sale since Nov-2016.
3) Reah: Face the Unknown and Schizm: Mysterious Journey have new historical lows (20% off - formerly 15% off)
4) The DLCs, Q.U.B.E. 2 Original Soundtrack and Season Pass on sale for the first time (20% off).
5) A.D. 2044 on sale for the first time (50% off) since given for free on it's release in Oct.

RWarehall: 2) Entomorph and Thunderscape match historical lows (75% off) and have not been on sale since Nov-2016.
Not to forget that both come with a manual and the soundtrack. Old classics without DLC hell. Got both now :)
Holy shit. I was trying to remember the name of a game from my youth, that I swore was a D&D game, about slowly transforming into an alien bug, and there it is.
Is the game still worth playing after all these years? I remember getting stuck because I couldn't figure out how to progress in the story.

These two look very tempting, especially after what RWarehall said. I promised myself to freeze GOG wallet before Summer Sale, but not so sure if loosing such opportunity is good idea...

Any opinion about the series? Is it still playable? Looks not-so-impressive, but I've found some good opinions and fans of crpgs classics suggest to try it.

Lemon_Curry: That's a very tempting price for Shelter 2 Special Edition! I might just get it this time.
I'm also considering both Shelters - especially that seem to be cheap in terms of both money and (even more important) time-to-complete. Anyone can suggest if it is good idea to try Shelter 1 first or should I jump directly into Shelter 2?

Entomorph reminds me of Vangers, where all of humanity somehow turned into a new species of bug-like creatures.

Pid and AER Memories of Old are at historical low too.

EDIT:

badon: Pid and AER Memories of Old are at historical low too.

EDIT:

Sniper Elite - Berlin 1945 is at GOG historical low.
AER - Memories of Old is a Daily Deal (I mentioned that there - first time on sale)

Sticking just to this Weekly sale though...

Many other titles match historic lows but Entomorph and Thunderscape are special in that they have not been on sale at any price in 18 months.

The list of additional titles (including DLC) that match their previous best sales are:
BattleZone 98 Redux
Battlezone 98 Redux - The Red Odyssey
Pan-Pan
Paws: A Shelter 2 Game
Paws: Pitter Patter Edition
Paws: Upgrade to Pitter Patter Edition
Pid
Q.U.B.E. 2
Rogue Trooper Redux Collector's Edition Upgrade
Shelter
Shelter 2
Tender Loving Care
The 11th Hour
The 7th Guest

But I don't find that very noteworthy, as many sales repeat themselves.

Noteworthy or not, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to put that list together for us. THANK YOU! It helps me a lot in my buying decisions.

Vythonaut: If you haven't done it yet, buy AvP (it's a great game) and while you're at it, pray to the almighty 01000111 01001111 01000111 we'll see AvP2 someday. ;)

ps. Rogue Trooper (the original) & Ground Control series also get my vote
Thank you very much for the recommendations. I got the Ground Control games, and I might get the others you menioned.

As to this title though...
It was part of a bundle for $1.49 in the Summer Sale of 2014 and was sold singly for $1.99 as part of the Fall insomnia Sale of 2013. It hasn't been available for less since those sales, but was also on sale for $2.49 as recently as this past March in the St. Patrick's Day Sale.
Shelter 2 now my mind (or maybe more accurately, my heart). It's not a game of play forever it anything, but it captured the emotional journey that many animals must go through as they battle against nature to not only survive for themselves, but also for those whom they protect.

The first time I had to leave one of my cubs in order to give the others a chance to survive, my heart broke for the little buggers.

The game's certainly not for everyone, but for me,, it was the second-most touching game I've played (behind Brothers).

Tallima: ...
Thank you for the opinion. Sound very interesting.

*Not really though as I still love ya!
