Point. Click. Pirate a ship!

Sale season is over so let's honor the occasion... with a Weekly Sale, consisting of two parts! One is for all you Adventure-seekers out there who can't stop pointing and clicking at things, but anyone who follows a more balanced gaming diet will also find several tasty snacks here, courtesy of Retroism.

Like, for example, Sid Meier's seminal titles Colonization, Pirates! Gold Plus, and Covert Action, the intense shooter Slave Zero, the action/strategy heavyweights Uprising 1 & 2, and the brutal shooter Eradicator.

Did we mention the spirit of adventure is strong in this one? 'Cause it totally is: The Last Door (Season 1 and 2), the Broken Sword saga, Downfall: Redux, Kentucky Route Zero, The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk, and of course the Syberia trilogy are just a few of your options if you want to spend some time solving puzzles, making conversation, or just discovering fantastic stories.

Both the Adventure and Retroism sales will last until January 22, 11 PM UTC.

Very nice sale and a lot of p&c classics in great prices. A lot of them are already in my library, but I'll take a look later and perhaps grab something. Thanks, GOG!
Is Still Life worth the dollar? I love me some Syberia, so I'm open for checking out their other works :) I also got SL2 in a giveaway years ago.
I can't recomend The Samaritan Paradox enough for adventure fans. I just finished it, very hard but logical puzzles, compelling story, beautiful pixel art (and I'm not usually a fan of pixels), atmospheric music and interesting twists and developments. It manages to actually create tension, which is hard in this genre.

Also I'm a big Cognition Erica Reed fan, loads of drama, story development and characterisation while actually giving some genre developments on puzzles.
So we have a sale onging, and now another sale at the same time!! This is turning into Oak Furnitureland!
bah humbug. too many sales, nothing to get
Always great to see Colonization on sale. :)
If you're into combat flight sims and haven't checked out Falcon BMS (the best version of Falcon 4.0, which is free to download but you'll need to own Falcon Collection to be able to install it) yet, then you're missing on one of the best sims ever made for the PC. If you choose to commit, beware of the steep learning curve; it requires a lot of free time and dedication on your part; this is hardcore simulation at its best!

Random_Coffee: Is Still Life worth the dollar?
Definitely.
Pirates! Gold is just like Sid Meier's Covert Action in that it still has that amusing "look in the manual" anti-piracy test that means diddly squat if you fail.
In all honesty, Pirates has aged kind of ungracefully. I'm even enjoying Covert Action much more.

It's totally stupid how much fun Sword of the Samurai is even in this modern era. Way ahead of its time.
Still need to install and try Darklands.

$17.99 is $17.98 too much of a ripoff for Bubsy. XD

Yes for story and atmosphere. It gets frustrating at points. You will need a walkthrough and there is a timed puzzled I could not pass, I had to download a saved game off the internet to proceed.
