Let’s start this weekend with some satisfying eye and reflexes challenge. This Weekend Sale on GOG.COM features DRM-free shooter games up to 87% off. Here are some of them:

A Fistful of Gun (-75%) is a shooter set in the Wild West. Take up your arms alone or in co-op mode and blast your way through dozens of enemies.

Stranglehold (-10%) is an action shooter in which you engage in intense gun battles as Inspector Tequila known from John Woo's cult action film, Hard Boiled.

Unreal 2: The Awakening Special Edition (-75%) is a first-person shooter in which you are plunged to a dangerous adventure by a chilling distress signal from space.

This Weekend Sale on GOG.COM will last until 16th March 2020, 2 PM UTC.
Stranglehold is showing up as 9% off...... I find this funny for some reason, probably still pick it up later today.
So both Blake Stones and ROTT: Dark War finally went on sale all together. You don't see that much...
This is funny, I considered creating a post asking if any of those old FPS is worth playing.

I'm tempted by a few:
Project Warlock ($4.86)
Ion Fury ($17.84, still not exactly cheap. Wonder if it supports my 3:4 monitor? Lots of retro titles fails at this, ironically)
Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold ($1.49) I have fond memories of playing the shareware version. But that was a while back, and games have evolved.
Blake Stone: Planet Strike ($1.49)

Rise of the Triad: Dark War can be bought together with both Blake Stone games as well. All three together are worth $4.47 USD.
Thanks! The new ROTT from 2013 is not bad at all, I think. (And it's 80% off)
Hm, neither Wrath nor Prodeus discounted... I´m slightly dissatisfied.

Ion Fury is almost perfect imo. EDIT: Not sure about 3:4 support.
Project Warlock is really good, if you don´t mind "slow paced" shooters.
Haven´t played the Blake Stone games yet.

Has anyone tried that Neon Chrome game?

Enebias: Any opinion on Hellmut and Nosferatu?
Haven´t played Hellmut. But Nosferatu has a very "arcadey" gameplay. You run through a procedurally generated castle and try to rescue your family members before the vampires get you. When you die, you start all over. It has a great retro horror movie feeling imo, with different types of vampires.

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried that Neon Chrome game?
Yep, I like it. It´s a twin stick shooter with a lot of weapons, upgrades and tech. Very addictive. You clear procedurally generated floors full of enemies. With each win the floors get more difficult. I don´t know whether there is a limit or not. I reached difficulty level 20 or so, and the floors are swarming with enemies. Cool thing is, you can level your attributes above hundred percent, turning you into an overpowered killing machine.

Do you know if that DLC "Arena" game is needed for Neon Chrome?
Where's my Amid Evil, where's my Dusk?
Bummer... :(

Oh well, anyhow, I can wholeheartedly recommend Ion Maiden/Fury, Project Warlock and to some degree Bombshell, which has a lot of issues, but a lot of charm as well.

Unreal Gold is a no brainer. :)

funny to see a shooter games sale without the shooter games included (Alien Shooter, Zombie Shooter etc)
