Oh, you'll want in on that Con!

It's PDXCON time again and for three days Paradox fans will be converging to Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate the epic games in the publisher's expansive catalog! Even if you're not attending, doesn't mean you can't participate in the fun: our PDXCON Sale is now on, with a wide array of modern classics going for up to 80% off.

Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny are two prime examples of why the isometric, party-based RPGs of yore needed to come back and stay. Age of Wonders, Europa Universalis, Majesty, and Hearts of Iron will more than scratch your tactical itch while sucking you in their respective worlds.

The PDXCON Sale ends May 21, 10pm UTC.
Every time I see Tyranny on sale this comes to mind: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/preorder_tyranny_commander_edition_f24b1/post5

I missed the pre-order bonus items on that game (insignificant as they may be), all because of GOG's poor communication and while that's in the past, I will never buy that game.

------

As for Paradox, they're good supporters of Linux but have horrible publishing decisions since most of their popular games are locked to Steam. I want to see Cities, Stellaris, Magicka, Crusader Kings, Warlock.

GR00T: A 'complete' pack should be bloody complete.
No, that's Gold... or Platinum, or GOTD (game of the decade), wait, there's still the pre-order DLC and backer DLC and ... PS-exclusive and XB-exclusive...

I don't know what publishers think they do when it's actually easier to click "download torrent" including everything there is than simply buy the game. Hear me? If you want to compete with pirates, making it more complicated is the wrong way to go.
Some nice titles.

I wish they would stop treating GoG as a 2nd-hand platform, though. It's obvious they are uneasy with a no-DRM policy, since none of their latest releases are here, not even EU IV which is anything but recent.
There are few interesting discounts but money saved for Summer Sale. :p
While I'm not openly hostile to Paradox, their unwillingness to add much new stuff to the GOG roster means that this sale doesn't include anything of interest that I don't already have. The one thing of theirs that I might potentially want to buy and isn't really new or Steam exclusive, Surviving Mars, is not included.
Pillars of eternity definitive edition is still ridiculously expensive.

No.
Victoria 3 ?
No Europa Universalis IV? No, thanks.
Get us some new Paradox games.

*ahem* like Cities: Skylines.
A nice portfolio of games on sale, but i already own most that interest me.
That Twitch video link tough, wasnt well tought trough, showcasing games still not sold here,
They *REALLY* need to add some more games here.

I don't buy them on Steam, there's just one in my library that was a gift, so anything not sold on GOG isn't getting a penny from me.

So, looking at the long string of "OWNED" next to everything in that sale they're going to have to expand their library here in order to make any more money off of me.
Well I can finally get those Europa Universalis games off my wishlist, so I'm happy. I may snag Hearts of Iron and Victoria before the sale ends.
At least, nice to complete the list of Paradox games sold on gog, little by little.

Like others, I would love to see more games here, and surprised Crusader Kings is discounted but doesn't appear on the list (a hint about the future Paradox game?).

The thing very interesting (but maybe I have too high hopes) is that gog and Paradox aren't only doing this sale, but gog and Paradox are mentioned as "partners" with a dedicated homepage and the twitch transmission.

P.S.: is it me or I don't see how long will last the current sale?

Oh thanks! Didn't see it, I should have read the OP too quickly, I guess.
