Relax with the Tux.

Spring sun is (mostly) shining but that won't stop the penguins from marching! With Ubuntu 18.04 receiving official support today, GOG is overrun with the loveable goofs. In order to make our black & white friends feel even more at home, we cooked up this special Weekend Sale featuring games that support Linux and/or low spec machines.

Who knew penguins and Escape Goats can be such good friends? Break out of prison by puzzle/platforming through its treacherous halls and manipulating the environment with physics on your side. Also a mouse with magical abilities.

There's nowhere to hide when the Mark of the Ninja is upon you. Use the shadows to silently assassinate your opponents in swift and creative ways, all wonderfully animated by the 2D masters of Klei Entertainment.

The Weekend Sale ends April 30, 10 pm UTC.
Good promo .

Sniskerbobberton: Wish my copies of Dying Light and Metro were Linux, like they are on steam. What is with that, GOG?

Edit: oh and the Saints Row franchise.

Well, we already sent some mails left & right (and i know that you also did your part behind the scenes), but so far so good; i hope we'll see good news eventually, cheers!
Dont want to spoil fun but...i'm not impressed. Thing that all games in this sale is linux-compatible is sure nice, BUT there is several long waited games JUST released their ports on GOG, like Momodora or Straif and i personally think it would be much better candidates for sale.

Games presented on this sale is sure fine, but its not like groundbreaking. Another smart movie, which GOG kinda missed, is would be pstpone recent additions like Ruiner port or Straif until today on roll them out just now.

Also, lt me shamelessly remind of this mix - https://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_have_native_linux_portselsewhere

I don't want to ruin your " fun " but you are attacking linuxvangog without any reason . Have you actually read his thread ?

It's a great game if you like stealth and the story is pretty good too. I preferred it with mouse and keyboard but it should work fine with a controller.

Thanks for the emphasis on low-spec machines! I'm hoping my new GOGmix played a role in the decision to highlight games that that work old low-spec PC's:

Nothing for me, I already own most of the games with Linux support here (on GOG) that could interest me.

Also, I'm waiting for some official answers to the recent public profiles debacle before taking any action.

Why does Linux get few games/late? I know nothing about Linux.
Anybody ever tried Prison Architect below-spec? I want to try it on the PC in my low-spec GOGmix that has 2 GB RAM with 5 GB SSD swap instead of 4 GB RAM. I haven't tried below-spec RAM yet that I can recall, and I'm not sure if that can work or not.

Below-spec CPU is the one that works most often, and I want to try Prison Architect with a single core 1.33 GHz CPU instead of a dual core 2.4 GHz. Video card VRAM has been tested frequently, and so far it never works below-spec. The video spec is 256 MB VRAM, and my VRAM is 256 MB shared, so I think the odds are good the video will work on my low-spec system.

How do you like it so far? I was thinking of getting it, because I want to test it on my GOGmix machine:

I think it will probably work, but I'm not sure if it will be smooth or not. Platformers tend to be less forgiving with lag than the other genres I have tested so far.
