Hollow Knight. If I had time and money for only one game, the only one to play before I died, I'd choose this one.
Nice -80% for RiME.

I do appreciate when a jumpy-jumpy game specifically said "Gamepad Recommended" on its Store Page

LUMO for instance, is just impossible with M+K
Why are you doing this to me? The Summer sale hasn't been over for a week and already you tempt me with Steamworld Dig 2, Dark Devotion, Unworthy and Valfaris...
I ain't got no munnies anymore you marauders! :P

You could consider Feudal Alloy... it got some killer bad reviews, but I found it charming... but haven't played enough, but based on what I saw, you might get chance to increase a backlog...

and yes, it's great sale!

I can't recommend Yoku's Island Express enough. Charming, oddball, and upbeat throughout. ;)
So, what's the situation with Bloodstained and WINE? I've asked multiple times before, and haven't received an answer.

Hello zlaywal!

I do appreciate gamepad support on plenty of games including platformer (jump n run) games.
But I really do not get your statement of LUMO being "impossible" with mouse and keyboard.
First, you do not need the mouse at all.
But jokes aside, for me it seems, that the majority of people complaining about keyboard controls in jump n run games, especially in those inspired or based on old classic games, are either not used to those type of games or never played the original games which these newer ones pay their homage to.

The old ZxSpectrum (pseudo)"isometric" platform adventure games, such as Knight Lore, Alien 8, Head over Heels and so on, were all played exactly like LUMO today! (NES console games, for instance Solstice, uses a controller of course.)
Lumo even allows you to chose in its control scheme between the orientation of the four cardinal directions (heading north-west or north-east so to speak) or diagonal movement, if you prefer.
If the controls are to dificult to get your head around them, try playing first in "adventure mode" with unlimited lives, instantly restarting in the same room were you failed and the option to save your progress, before going to the "old-school mode" more similar to the classics with finite lives, no saves and a counter clocking your time, rooms visited, etc.

And regarding responsiveness, I finished LUMO multiple times on keyboard, both lefthanded (WASD), as well as righthanded (arrow keys).

For me LUMO was one of my most unexpected gaming surprises, when I stumbled over it in August 2019, which I am still re-visiting frequently!

I do recommend LUMO to everyone, who either knows those classics mentioned earlier and like to revisit games like those, or who wants a generally funny, pleasing and overall entertaining experience, in which you can hop-in and out when ever you want.
Oh, and in order to not forget: it is appropriate for all ages and suitable for kids, too.

Kind regards,
foxgog

LUMO looks like the kind of game that could have went well with retro Playstation graphics.

Bloodstained looks interesting though, despite what some people say. Looks like a mix of YS and castlevania. There was earlier on a sale on indiegala.

It looks interesting, but I can't get it because there's no native Linux version and nobody has answered my question about whether it works in WINE.
Shuggy for 49 cents has got to be the best deal in the sale, quite a fun puzzle platformer (IIRC, mostly or entirely single screen levels) with lots of content.

Yoku's Island Express is another one of my favorites, I also highly recommend that one.

I also recommend RiME if you didn't get it in the giveaway a while back (and I recommend playing it if you did get it and didn't play it yet :) ), however, there is an audio issue on my system that I think might be due to my CPU being fairly minimal and reviews also say there are issues if your GPU is not fairly high end so avoid if you do not have an all-around high end system. I hope they optimize it some day since it is a great game.

Hollow Knight I also recommend. IMO it would be much better with more and better story and a bit less "where do I go next" but it is still an excellent game. There is a sequel that will be out soon:

Psychonauts has a nice "running around a summer camp" feel and is another one of my favorites despite the unfortunate sexism.

Hob is a fairly good game but has been on much better sale, the developer is gone, and the company that owns it seem rather scummy so I'd recommend waiting on that one.

Lumino City has a unique art style that is quite nice, although I didn't really like the puzzles (I don't in most adventure games it seems :( ) and I had at least one time where I attempted to do the right thing but wasn't able to make it work until looking at a walkthrough (possibly fixed by now, that was a while ago). Still, the art alone is enough to recommend it IMO. For some reason the mini first game Lume is not on GOG but I recommend playing that one first. It is available DRM-free on Playism or the Humble Store, although not on sale and expensive for a quite short game.
