Do NOT BUY "Two Worlds II Epic Edition"! I repeat DO NOT BUY IT.

Topware has given up on GOG and we are missing the single player expansion "Shattered Embrace" here.

If you already bought the game here like me, you are f***ed if you want the complete game.

Thanks for reminding me about this mess of a game / publsiher. :(

Why can't the game be completed?

Is there no true endling like Dungeon Siege 1 w/o the LoA expansion?

Complete game = game with all stories exoansions.

We are missing a complete standalone expansion here. Storywise I have NO idea.

The first expansion was buggy but playable, the second one (missing) seems to be broken beyond believe and was almost not bugfixed at all. Some people on Steam say it is unplayable.

NOW I can understand why it has not reached GOG. They spared us from this dribble...

Sure it sucks when publishers don't give us the full package, but given how this expansion is received on Steam (mostly negative) and elsewhere, i think they do us a favor by not releasing it here.
Yeah. 13 Euros or 17 Euros for a completely broken experience? Nope. NOT into that. No reactions on the steam forums anymore, no updates, I think the developer went under. So it shall be then.

I can't second this. On the contrary I'd say this edition (former "Velvet") is all you need.

Those additional expansions starting seven (!) years after the release of the main game seem like trying to milk an old game.

Of course, with "completeness OCD" your point is valid.

Of course the game has a few problems, but I found it pretty atmospheric (amazing soundtrack too, esp. the PotFF expansion!) and it has a very cool magic system.

July 2020, last update was in Februar 2020. Still working on updates they said, slow progress because of COVID-19.

I do not expect them to complete their work, since then no reaction in the forum of the expansion. :(

$13.99? For me it's even more expensive than the usual 13-21% markup I already have to pay for most games. This one is a whopping 36% more expensive for me at $19.10. Unbelievable. Somebody should really do something about the stupid location based pricing. I am already buying stuff only when discounted because of it and I sure as hell am not going to support this 36% ridiculousness even at a discount

From the sale, I can definitely recommend Van Helsing. It is so old-school that you can even choose for the enemies to not respawn after quitting and play it basically like Diablo 1.

That's a moot point, because that game isn't worth buying any more anyway, since a re-made & much better and way more complete version of that game is already included in the "Shadows: Awakening" game which is also included in this sale. And Shadows: Awakening is a very good game by the way.

I know that (already finished Awakening twice). Just used it as an example of the pricing shenanigans. With that being said, I actually liked some things more in Heretic Kingdoms than in Awakening.

I enjoyed Two towers II when it first came here. That was before all the expansions and Velvet edition. Only base campaign, and the piratey one (which I didn't play, only briefly checked the beginning, my char was too low level and I didn't want to generate new one). Average RPG, with some interesting mechanics (like breaking down items, or increasing item power with duplicates). I remember how I was in awe with the graphics when I set foot on the orc island for the first time and saw the water streams running down the hills... and now I made myself feel old :-/

Anyway, OCD completionists/collectors beware, for rest of the people it should still provide some fun, even today.
Has anyone tried that Elderborn game? Does it allow the user to save at any time?
