Yep, Saw the 2K sale and got excited that it was going to be a repeat of Bethesda's shock releases....
Alas sadly no.

So yet again we all say in a very loud voice

Please don't do a publisher sale unless you've got new goodies to offer!

Its rarely a case of "Look what nice game I can get cheap" and always a case of "Yet another painful reminder of all that publishers games we can't buy DRM Free"

I´d love a GOG Connect at least for the Civ series, i am dissapointed of the Steam Civ IV standalone expansions not being detected in Galaxy.

Wow, well I know I have a backlog but I could take -

Backlog: "NO, YOU ARE NOT IGNORING US ANYMORE - FINISH PLAYING WITH US FIRST YOU BASTARD!!"

Me: "But..... but the sales."

Backlog: "NO MORE, WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED YOU WILL PLAY US, YOU WILL FINISH US, AND YOU WILL ENJOY US!!".

It goes a little R rated from there.....

I can't not recommend Civ IV, one of my favorite games ever and easily a Top 3 on GOG.

Here's an idea: Contact with Aliens , Cultural/Race exchange protocol: Earth sends x-com (UFO defense & Terror from the Deep) copies to Aliens (we'd exchange Virtual Machine format in preliminary step?). It says everything about Human Nature...

Probably to offset the cost of taking out expire licensed music from the game.
But it was on sale for $4.94 back in January.
