Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes! Also discounts.

Be you a veteran or fledgling gamer, it's a safe bet that you won't come across a more fascinating ensemble of characters than the one living inside Disney's rich catalog: there are Sith lords and gunslingers here, clueless pirates and headstrong archeologists, a purple tentacle and a blue genie, hooded mystics and land sharks - plus some of them are even made of LEGO bricks!

Take a moment to meet them all, they make for quite the lovely company.

The special Disney Sale ends October 19th, 10 PM UTC.

kbnrylaec: This announcement/thread was titled as Weekend Sale.
Obviously, GOG fixed it.
So this is the only offer for the weekend ? Meh .

Ghildrean: Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine with a 65% discount while Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb only gets a 10% discount.

Someone does not know which one was released two weeks ago.

EDIT: And, unless it is intentional, Zak McKracken and The Dig are not on sale.

Just curious.
Great! Gonna grab Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Sure would be nice if Gog put the old LEGO games on sale at 75% off like they are at every other online store in the world multiple times per year.
I really hope this is an actual special sale and not what we are getting for the weekend sale. Ill never intentionally give my money to Disney

Excellent choice! :) This was my first adventure game, and the one that made me fall in love with the genre.

Dear GOG,

*ahem*

Don't fucking reference Duck Tales if you're not gonna put in a Duck Tales game.

There, I said it. Getting our hopes up.

Also:

Please, stop calling these sales "Disney sales".

We all know what this sale is:

LucasArts Classics, and a couple of SNES Disney games thrown in for effect.

Got stuck in Fate of Atlantis, and instead of starting over I figured it's better to try get stuck in this one instead :)
4,59€ is still too expensive for Curse of Monkey Island...

I'll still be waiting thhe GOG connect, not gonna pay 36 times for the same game...
(stream of conscious writing so info may be inaccurate)

Since we recently got Infernal Machine, I can't complain about no new Disney games. And I have to give props to Disney, as they ushered in what felt like the new Era of GOG in Oct 2014 (iirc). I recall 2013 feeling pretty dry after getting EA and Square Enix games, and much of 2014 felt dry (again, iirc), but then Disney showed up (and Squeenix's Gex) and it feels like GOG has been pretty well able to keep up the momentum ever since - we gotten new Activision, EA, Ubisoft, etc. since then. (The only one feeling lacking is Square Enix; we got Revenant in early 2015 and nothing since. where the heck is Gex 2? :P).

At 3700 votes I do wish GOG could get Battlefront 2004, despite EA probably wanting to avoid confusion. (I think Battlefront 2004 is the current most-desired Disney wishlist entry.) And I think some of the classics (Loom or The Dig?) are missing bonus content and alt versions, and I still wish the ScummVM versions could be added alongside the remakes, BUT no big deals.

Maybe next May 4 we get Phantom Menace; I have nostalgia for that but probably won't ever replay it.

Yes, please: The Loom EGA version and the audio drama. Battlefront 2004 would also be nice.

Dear User

The games are now all owned by Disney, hence the use of 'Disney sale'.
