wormholewizards: It's always tempting to see a discounted bundles. But the real question is are the Arts Collection games good?
I had played the first two Secret Files games (purchased them in physical form back when they were released). They were very good games, I don't remember anything negative about them. For the rest of them I cannot help, sorry.
For this bundled price it was a no-brainer for me, I could afford it and I insta-bought it.

ditto! never heard of these point n click adventures, which is my fav genre. the price is right to just give it a go but if they are really short, boring, or annoying mechanics then ill pass. my library is chock full of those already

They are definitely not bad and not short - if point and click is your genre you should get them. So far the only one that did not get that good reviews is Lost Horizon 2.

If you like the games they are good, if you do not like the genre and the 2.5 d style then the games might not be interesting, i like the games , i played the demos and bought them on Steam, now that i have GOG versions i can dump the installed steam ones.

The games are no 3d of FPP game style , if you are looking for that it's not in the games, imho LOH 2 is not as good as LOH 1, LOH2 is also pretty high on resources and CPU ( seems the engine changedwhich might explain the higher CPU consumption on a simple quadcore).

Anyway i like games like this thats why i instabought them, it is rather funny that the LOG double pack doesnt show i own the games in tn the other collection, which is a litle confusing.

I'm glad you like some Deepsilver games aswell, i like the secret files and the Lost Horizon games, when first released my current setup was too weak, and the game was full with DRM ( tages) anyway, now i can finally play the games FRM free and i can uninstal remove the steam backuped games on my drive.

That's great ! the more games you can get drm free the better. Luckily i have never bought these games before.
I think Deep Silver has quite a few fun games in their catalog so more is better.

Lost Horizon is very good, Lost Horizon 2 is pretty meh.

Secret Files and Secret Files 2 are pretty good, Secret Files 3 is meh.

I'm getting the whole collection, personally.

I am not usually so negative, but the Risen series is hot garbage IMO and recommend folks look anywhere else for an open world experience.
The games are designed around only a singular play style and rely very heavily on exploiting broken combat mechanics to progress.
It was bad enough I feel that people should be warned about them, because they look good on the surface.

Well...Tastes vary. A lot of people like the first in the series; Risen 3 is the one most people dislike.

But if you dislike #1 as well, ok.
