Up to 90% off Blackguards 2, Deponia, Blackwell Bundle, Technobabylon, Anna's Quest, and more!

While researching how The Big Adventure Game Drought Οf Τhe Εarly 00's came to its end, scientists recently came across a mysterious puzzle box they dubbed The Story Inventory. Opening it was no easy task but once someone pointed out that you had to lead the curious Wadjet Eye symbol to the top right corner of the Daedalic maze engraved on the lid, something clicked. This historical unboxing revealed that the games held inside were not just adventure games but did have one thing in common: a thick layer of delicious storytelling. Now it's finally time to share the contents with the rest of the world in a Weekend Promo that's not only rich in story but also heavy on discounts!

If you are among Aventuria's most vile mercenaries, taking up the occasional jailbreak job, engaging into shady politics, and killing for money should be your bread and butter. But Blackguards 2 is also about making your own (im)moral choices as you guide your companions on turn-based battlefields, customize their gear, and even use the environment to your advantage.

It's 2087 and this brave new world is irreversibly addicted to Trance, a virtual reality world which overshadows the mundane "meatspace" that we know. But when three broken people stumble upon a layered conspiracy that eats on the foundations of this Technobabylon, they will need to confront their demons and tackle challenging puzzles in order to reach the truth or a personal closure.

There are dozens of amazing stories waiting to be unleashed from The Story Inventory, going for up to 90% off. The engraved symbols of storytelling masters Daedalic and Wadjet Eye Games on its lid guarantee their quality and games like the Deponia series, Dead Synchronicity, the Blackwell saga, Anna's Quest, and Primordia, stand as the best scientific proof! The promo will last until February 16, 4:59 AM GMT.
recommendation from this lot:

if you haven't played primordia and you're looking for a dense, serious, interesting adventure game [that has some dark-ish humour sprinkled in for good measure] i cannot recommend this game enough.

the only real problem with it is how drab it looks, but this makes "sense" given it's particular world.
So, there's no Polish holiday tomorrow... making this really weird to have an early weekend promo. What gives?

Also, screw Valentine's Day.

Vythonaut: ...and it has two different endings! :D

IAmSinistar: Unlimited dialogue options! Over a billion romanceable characters! Permadeath! ;)

If this offer started on Thursday, and lasts until Tuesday, should it even be considered a "weekend promo?" It seems more like a half week sale!

Just checked out the titles I already own in this sale, and those are some crazy low prices. Makes me want to hoard game keys again...

NuffCatnip: A promo on a thursday ?
Is something special going to happen tomorrow ?

mecharma: Or today? Who knows...
Was the something special the giveaway? I was thinking maybe that flood of releases Judas has been talking about would finally start. Maybe with new WB games for basically the first time since they joined a year ago. Not that the giveaway isn't cool, but I really got my hopes up here.
YAY! Richard & Alice is finally part of a promo! =)

Vythonaut: Grrrrrreat promo!!! :D

Everyone who aren't allergic (!) in point & click adventures should buy Technobabylon; really great game, I'm near the end right now and I'm having a blast! Technocrat (dev) & WadjetEye (pub) have a new fan - I can't wait to play their other games too!

You may want to visit Technocrat's website too, as there is a free game to download and play. ;)
Yep Wadjet is really one of the better publishers (or to me amongst the best!). Thanks for the tip Vythonaut :)
I just wanted to pass this along for anyone running Technobabylon under Wine. I'm running Wine 1.8.1 under OS X 10.11.3 (El Capitan) and it took me a minute to realize how to get the game running fullscreen. You have to launch "winsetup.exe" which is under the install directory. It allows you to tweak various audio and graphical settings, including a checkbox to disable windowed mode. See the attached image for further details.

If anyone can figure out how to get tap clicks on the trackpad to register, please let me know. I have a mid-2015 rMBP with a force touch trackpad and I always have to physically click in the game. I'm so used to tap clicking that it's driving me bonkers!

anna's quest is sure nice but not at that price
Price in dollars for Blackguards UL: 0,59
Price in euros for Blackguards UL: 0,59

And you guys keep telling the nice story of the local currency conversion due to avoid people being confused about the price...yeah, sure.

I'd recommend Primordia. It was the first Wadjet Eye game I played and it impressed me quite a bit.
