Up to 90% off Blackguards 2, Deponia, Blackwell Bundle, Technobabylon, Anna's Quest, and more!

While researching how The Big Adventure Game Drought Οf Τhe Εarly 00's came to its end, scientists recently came across a mysterious puzzle box they dubbed The Story Inventory. Opening it was no easy task but once someone pointed out that you had to lead the curious Wadjet Eye symbol to the top right corner of the Daedalic maze engraved on the lid, something clicked. This historical unboxing revealed that the games held inside were not just adventure games but did have one thing in common: a thick layer of delicious storytelling. Now it's finally time to share the contents with the rest of the world in a Weekend Promo that's not only rich in story but also heavy on discounts!

If you are among Aventuria's most vile mercenaries, taking up the occasional jailbreak job, engaging into shady politics, and killing for money should be your bread and butter. But Blackguards 2 is also about making your own (im)moral choices as you guide your companions on turn-based battlefields, customize their gear, and even use the environment to your advantage.

It's 2087 and this brave new world is irreversibly addicted to Trance, a virtual reality world which overshadows the mundane "meatspace" that we know. But when three broken people stumble upon a layered conspiracy that eats on the foundations of this Technobabylon, they will need to confront their demons and tackle challenging puzzles in order to reach the truth or a personal closure.

There are dozens of amazing stories waiting to be unleashed from The Story Inventory, going for up to 90% off. The engraved symbols of storytelling masters Daedalic and Wadjet Eye Games on its lid guarantee their quality and games like the Deponia series, Dead Synchronicity, the Blackwell saga, Anna's Quest, and Primordia, stand as the best scientific proof! The promo will last until February 16, 4:59 AM GMT.

A weekend promo on thursday? What kind of madness is that???

But I have to say that it's a nice promo. Both Daedalic and Wadjet Eye are two of my favourite companies when it comes to modern adventure games.
I knew if I was patient enough I'd get a good deal on Untold Legends, I doubt it'll get better than 90.15% off any time soon!

Is Untold Legends worth it ? I mean, it's not a question of price but of interest and quality. People in the reviews say this DLC is buggy as hell !
Whoa, bunches of adventure games on sale that also on my wishlist! Good going, Gog! Which to pick, which to pick.

:)
Great promo, some games I'd love to get my hands on. However, I just got my hands on a X-Files box-set, so my wallet says I'll have to wait till next time.

mecharma: Or today? Who knows...
Ok, I stand corrected...
Today's "games I forgot were on GOG" - Valhalla Hills.

It's wishlisted, as I probably wouldn't get to it any time soon. I does look lovely though!
Grrrrrreat promo!!! :D

Everyone who aren't allergic (!) in point & click adventures should buy Technobabylon; really great game, I'm near the end right now and I'm having a blast! Technocrat (dev) & WadjetEye (pub) have a new fan - I can't wait to play their other games too!

You may want to visit Technocrat's website too, as there is a free game to download and play. ;)

Seeing the Weekend Promo starting today completely threw me off, now I keep thinking it's Friday.

Nice promo, plenty of good games worth checking out.
The ones I'm interested in and don't yet have are still a bit pricey for the current state of my poor wallet, plus I need to work a bit more seriously on my backlog.

That's some serious endorsement - trust me people, Vythonaut never was nor is a p&c fan.

MBiL_248: Me too. But the release of PONY ISLAND isn't exactly what I would call something special ...
avatar
mecharma: To be fair, Pony Island is a pretty special game...
No, it's a game for special people. :)

:D
I really recommend getting TECHNOBABYLON from this weekend promo, it's an absolutely fantastic adventure game.

Huh, I didn't know they also made The Perfidious Petrol Station. Had that for ages but never fired it up, maybe I should.
