haydenaurion: the ball is in their court.
avatar
mobutu: We can keep throwing more balls in their court, maybe they'll finally notice :)
EA Big Wig Response:

Where are all these balls coming from? This reminds me, time to push out more NBA, NFL, FIFI, (whatever other alphabet soup sports brand we have to rights to) games.
Nice promo, even if I already have all the titles I want

arxon: dam the 85% off for the full package is tempting. On the other hand it´s EA.

amok: that's a but random. if the games had a different publisher it would what... make them better? change the price?
nah EA is the ultimate evil, cause the haven't updated their gog library since like forever

So let's make sure they never will by refusing to buy the few games they have here?

That's hard if you already have them all since years! :P
If there's refusal, it is to buy multiple copies of something one already owns!
Talking about evil, EA is doing it only against itself. More games on more stores = more money, only they do not seem to realize it.

It's a bit like joining the lottery. It is a bit naive thinking you will win, but not buying a ticket is the most certain way to lose.
Well, I would be happy, if they would release some new (old) games, like I don't know: Hi-Octane?

Or maybe Fade to Black?

I shouldn't have to play the lottery for the GOG biz dev team to do their jobs.
Interestingly, my Chromebook was read as a Mac when buying the bundle.

Not much to work'll with if it is - "come sell your games on gOg, because the people here hate you and will not buy your games".....
avatar
gamesfreak64: Maybe they are afraid that without that DRM they will loose control on their games.
avatar
mobutu: The control is already lost (all of their games can be found freely on torrent sites).
So you can't lose something that is already lost.
I know but these DRM hugging companies are still in denial of the fact that any form of DRM is bad,
the whole world knows that , and every games and even crappy games that have a big nice DRM are the first ones to be broken : cause the people doing that like a challenge, the better the DRM the more of a challenge it will be to break it.
Well I finally bit on buying the last four games I didn't own yet. May as well knock out the entire EA catalog here in hopes they finally add more. :)
