Austrobogulator: Oh, good, I can't actually click on any of the titles in the promo list.
Ya. That bugged me too. Harder to check out games of interest.

Random_Coffee: It looks pretty nice, I've always been a big fan of strategy. I see it has co-op as well, which is always a plus. Is the co-op mode good?
I never played the game in multiplayer but I'll try to explain what I know about it.
The game in solo is against the computer AI which rules the galaxy. The multiplayer is a co-op mode (and it's the only multiplayer mode as far as I know) : you fight alongside with your friend(s) in the same way as in solo : against the AI which rules the galaxy. The game is designed to play against one or more AI, and it is well designed for this, so this multiplayer mode is logic (in my opinion) The game is well balanced in solo, so I assume it's well balanced in multiplayer too (Arcen Games really bother of this kind of things).
In case you didn't see one of my previous posts, there is a (big) demo here, on the bottom of the page.

BreOl72: And thanks to you, too!

Splatsch: You're welcome, it's a pleasure if I can help :)

vicklemos: I won't tell you one thing about SH. It would spoil the fun. Give it a serious go and you won't regret it. After many, many hours I finished it and felt immensely proud :P

Splatsch: The way you talk about it increase my curiosity a lot, it looks very interesting, I may take it (I'll have to think about it). I really like the spirit of Arcen : they make very interesting and in a way unusual games. Thanks for your opinion :)
Thanks, mon ami :P
Go ahead, these games are not regrettable. They're memorable in their own weird way, that's for sure.
I had true fun -and some good time spent- with most of their games. That reminds me that I gotta check properly their "A Valley without Wind" series.

ps: they're classics to me, specially SH and Bionic Dues. And I've played all of these on Linux :P

Darkstar One is another case of the showcased reviews on the sale page being ridiculously selective (though at least in its case, the average star rating is a whole lot more positive than the two highest voted reviews).
Man, loads of good games in this sale! I can personally recommend O.R.B. and AI War. I'm a fan of Arcen games, so those should be good grabs as well. And the Anomaly series is a real steal at this price. I also like the Seven Kingdom games, but they have issues.

Only one wishlist item for me in this sale (Supreme Ruler 2010), but that's okay since I'll likely grab Sunless Sea today too.

Great weekend sale!
For a second i thought "Wait, what? Close Combat is available here on gog? And in a promo?" and then i read it better and it was Combat Mission! :'(

Well, they kind of do look similar in terms of gameplay, it could work...
GOG really needs to get more strategy games (preferably TBS, 4x or Grand Strategy). I own everything I want from the promo already. Hopefully GOG can sign in some major strategy game dev this year...
Small comment from me regarding the inability to go to product pages by clicking on the titles on the list.

It's intentional change (that has nothing to to with tablets and other devices) - we thought that since you have the basic product details visible directly on the page, and there are two links to the product page (title and link to the reviews), taking away the ability to click directly on the list will not be a big deal. There are other factors also that dictated this.

Of course we are always listening to your feedback (thanks for that people!), and we are not ruling out bringing it back. We will be watching few future promos and them make the decision.
Well, once you realize there's still a link to the product page on the right side, you can adjust to it, but it's certainly less intuitive and more roundabout than just clicking on the names in the list. What's the actual advantage of removing those links (and a bit of user-friendliness along with them)?

The ability to go directly to the gamepage would be still useful though. Quite often I want to buy a game from a promo and a full-price game at the same time. To do so you have to go to the game page of the discounted game and put it in the cart (otherwise it isn't possible to mix a promo with a non-promo game).

Make the product link more noticeable.

high rated
I love the sale but I find the change to the interface making me unable to click the title in the list to go to the game's page to be really annoying. Usually I open every title that sounds interesting in a new tab and this really slows that approach down.
