How come there aren't any assault rifles or rocket launchers in Thief? Killing zombies with broadhead arrows is too hard and there aren't enough arrows to kill the zombies anyways. This is a serious design flaw in my opinion.

Assault rifles and Rocket launchers are ineffective against zombies.

Former are prone to overheating and jamming. Its not possible to quickly replace the barrel, neither have stable firing. LMGs allow to replace barrel quickly, are stable and have big ammo capacity. Unfortunately they are heavy and thus not practical should you decide to run (which you would likely do).

Rocket launchers have long reloading time, their ammunition weights a lot and as zombies are mostly melee - have high danger of collateral damage.

Arrows are just fine, if you are skilled enough to fire them quickly.

But your top weapons should be fully automatic shotgun or a flamethrower.

Anyways, you're right. I saw something similar in a user review on either Steam or Amazon. I just added a little more stupid to it :)

Unless it's an AK47 which usually seems to be (one of) the best assault rifles in FPP games for some reason

Arrows don't go "pew pew" or "boom boom", therefore they suck. Lots of "pew pew" and "boom boom" = good game. The bigger the "boom boom" and louder the "pew pew", the better the game is. Also, only sniper rifles in FPP games require skill, everything else is stoopidist nOObs stuff.

What? No sniper rifle? That sucks.I don't care if zombies attacki in melee, I wanna use a sniper rifle. No snipers = bad game, don't believe me, just look at Daikatana, regarded by many as the worst game ever and it doesn't have a sniper rifle in it and I doubt this is a coincidence. I go cry for my mummy now. How dare they make a game without sniper rifles :*(
