Up to 90% off essential classics like Pirates! Gold Plus, Total Annihilation, Master of Orion Collector's Edition, Bloodrayne, and more!

Despite the staggering variety of fantasy worlds we've been treated to throughout the years, it's not all that common that you find vampires, pirates, and space aliens hanging out in the same place. And yet, that's exactly what happens inside the joined catalogs of Retroism + Wargaming + Majesco! So take advantage of the up to -90% discounts, go meet this intriguing mosaic of diverse characters, and make them play nice.

Darklands invites you to a 15th-century fantasy world steeped in hardships, spooky folktales, and fanaticism. The incredible details, oppressive atmosphere, and heavy customization options on your four-member party will remind you why this grim RPG has withstood the test of time.

What happens when our first contact with an alien civilization comes with a warning about the imminent extinction of the human race? Advent Rising explores that grim scenario with gusto, offering solid action/adventure gameplay and awesome psychic powers.

Few real-time strategies have depicted mass-scale battles as successfully as the Total Annihilation series. Warfare between armies of mean machines or creatures of immense magic never stops being fascinating, especially when coupled with robust mechanics and great units diversity.

Looking for thrills, tactical challenges, gory action, or even relaxed swashbuckling? You'll find it all in the combined Retroism + Wargaming + Majesco catalogs, going for up to 90% off. Pick between Bloodrayne, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Requiem: Avenging Angel, Master of Orion Collector's Edition, or the dozens of other gems.
The promo will last until October 18, 3:59 AM UTC.

But that's not all! Starting today, We Are The Dwarves, the squad-based action/adventure with the unique space setting, is 33% off for an indefinite amount of time!

IronArcturus: Is that Requiem game any good?
If you don't me asking, why not just google the game to see if you'd be interested?

IronArcturus: Is that Requiem game any good?
It's ok. It is a (more or less linear) story FPS, with a few interesting mechanics, though I did find it quite punishing in its difficulty. Most bugs should be fixed, though it is quite possible that a couple of broken triggers still appear on various configurations.

Sounds interesting! Does it have a difficulty setting or windowed mode by any chance?
Challenge of the Five Realms --- i cant seem to remember what the issue was with this game --- isnt there some sort of tight timelimit or something? (looking at maybe getting the Uprising games too)
It's time once again for me to offer someone a copy of Dragonsphere.
Will there be any takers this time? Only time will tell...
I picked up Advent Rising. I played part of the game when it was new, but never finished. I do remember that ads for the game were papered everywhere.

Hope to finish it within the week, but lately life has been crushing playing time.

There is a difficulty setting, with the usual 3 ones (though not named easy/normal/hard). I think there was also a windowed mode, but my tests for dual monitor support showed that the mouse was not captured in the monitor, so if you decide to play in a window, you'll probably need to somehow restrict the mouse in it.
I think I'll actually buy something this weekend! But what to buy... The two Massive Assault games look the most promising (at least of the games I haven't bought yet).

Other promising games include Hyper Dimensional Neptunia, and Master of Orion... But I'll hold off probably on those two.

Me too, but only with the manual which Retroism doesn't want to provide at the moment.

Phc7006: Sounds like what the spokeperson ( note that the use of spokeman is discouraged due to its hint at gender imbalance) of the Ministry of Truth could say. Sounds teasing and promising but is actually true in 100% of the cases ( as for each and any of us there is at the very least one definite future event ) ;-)

So, ... things. Is that a clue? Thing as "lovercraftian sort of thing" maybe ? Things crawling on the walls or creeping in the night ? Green things waging havoc in the kingdom of humans ? ...

Sniskerbobberton: As a 4X fan is the Master of Orion reboot worth its weight in gold?

Phc7006: Digital games don't weight much ya see...

Heard and read it's decent but inferior to MOO2 except for much nicer graphics of course. For me, would be an instant buy if the Khanate dlc was not exclusive to the collector edition. Sure the markup for the collector thing also covers the vintage game ( have them alreaday here and in boxed version ) and some bonusses that would only be meaningful if they were hard copuies ( artbook f.i. ), so as it is for a single 11th race, that's a tad expensive. Tempted to buy the base edition, tempted to wait for another better sale sometime in the future !
True, didn't think about that :P

Yeah, doesn't instil much hope in my purchase with the reviews and such, I'll do as you are doing, I'll wait when its at a much lower price, hopefully the Autumn/Fall sale just around the corner?

When you look for a TBS game where the fights are not marred by a random number generator then at least the second game is a good choice (the first game probably too, but I haven't played that yet).
