Up to 80% off Rise of the Triad (2013), F.E.A.R. Platinum, Mortal Kombat, Unreal Tournament, and more!

Shooters, slashers, guts and gory! Crazy insane or insane crazy, when we say promo, you say frenzy - it's a true seasonal May(hem) with the biggest guns, bloodiest gibs, and deals from 50-80% off! May we cause ALL the chaos this weekend.

If we're talking insanity, then F.E.A.R. Platinum is where we should start: a mindbending threat and badass slowmo combos come together for that perfect blend of "I don't know what I'm doing, but I ain't stopping." If we're talking frantic - then the fast and precise Unreal Tournament games are there to scratch the old-school itch whether you're in it for the gibs or the glory. Coincidentally, if you look up "gory" in the dictionary you'll find a picture of Mortal Kombat next to a severed spine - go ahead, it's a fine way to set the weekend promo mood.

Finally, since we're on the topic of mayhem, then we can't help but think Rise of the Triad 2013: unapologetically old-school, it's the only modern, moddable, multiplayer and mayhem filled title that connects players across both Steamworks and GOG Galaxy. With the latest update (live now!), there's no better time to get weird, get wild and GET LUDICROUS.

All that and more, including SiN Gold, Aliens Versus Predator Classic 2000, Rise of the Triad: Dark War, Shadow Warrior and so much more, are here to cause every kind of unseemly circumstance and the ultimate May(hem). 25 games at 50-80% off are on sale until Tuesday, May 26, 3:59 AM GMT.
Bloody awesome promo. :) Looks like I'll finally get Bloodrayne and Blood 2.
Nice sale, though I have all I want from it. Still a good range of things for our newcomers, and for people with titles on their wishlists from this.

Wanted to add that Crimsonland is a good game at this sale price. It's a shallow shooter, but a fun game to unwind with when you want something mindless. And I was actually able to complete it, in spite of not being so great at these games. I can't really call it good value for money at full price, but in this sale it is a fine exchange.

Grargar: I bought the game before it was unbundled and it shows as owned to me.
Huh. Wonder why this is affecting only some of us, then?

Maybe it affects those who bought it before/after a specific date? I bought mine in March, 2014.

ZFR: How is Shadow Warrior 2013? I've liked the original and the new one is on my wishlist, so I'm very tempted to get it with such a discount?

Only hesitant because some remastered games (RoTT for example) turned out real crappy. Was Shadow Warrior done properly?
Yes, that game is lots of fun!

Random_Coffee: Awesome promo! Already own 12 games in it, I can totally recommend Blood, that game is the essence of fun imo. Unreal Tournament is also great!

I've been on the fence about buying SiN hundreds of times, as I've heard very mixed things about it, is it good?
Meh. Played through the first 6 levels or so, it kind of loses steam along the way. The funny banter between the characters is nice, but the rest is very run of the mill.

Played through the first level a while back. Graphically it looks very good, but it plays much like an old FPS – linear levels with secret areas, no backtracking, limitless inventory, health packs, power ups (kind of), etc. The humor is quite nice but it was very toned down from the original (understandably so). Maybe too much; then again, we really didn’t want another Duke Nukem Forever, did we? I just wish I didn't forget to actually use the guns, the katana is just too much fun. :)

triple_l: Are you refering to the AvP standalone installer installing Galaxy?
That was corrected and no longer happens

Matruchus: It might be good then if gog updated 80% of reviews for Double Dragon (like it did for some other games) that say exactly oposite (galaxy multiplayer integration + launcher needed). Its definitely hurting the game sales.
Unfortunately its killed any interest in getting the game from my side. It does actually state on the game page (for DD):
"This game does not include LAN play, but includes brand new multiplayer mode with user matchmaking. To access it please login into your GOG.com account in the game launcher. The launcher is not required for single-player and can be uninstalled at any time. "
And yes, you can uninstall it, but why not put it as an optional install in the first player. I don't want client software on my system.

As for the other games on the list, there are some great ones. Big non to SW2013, I really enjoyed that one

Random_Coffee: I will look it up on YouTube, and see how well the stealth-aspect is done.
This review by Gggmanlives is what ultimately convinced be to buy it some time ago.
The original Rise of the Triad and the Blake Stone games are supposed to be a trilogy of sorts. Are they worth picking up if one already has the Rise of the Triad remake?

They are not a trilogy. They just use the same game engine, that's all.

Shadow Warrior '13 shows as owned for me. I got it during the Mutator promo in October 2014.
OK, I got Shadow Warrior 2013
