Up to 75% off two vaults full of gaming treasures: RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, Act of War: Gold Edition, Master of Magic, and more!

Do you know what happens when <span class="bold">ATARI meets Codemasters</span>? An explosion of cool discounts happens! We had our best people plant the explosives on two massive vaults bearing two massive names on them. And wouldn't you know it, our plan worked! So come and enjoy the spoils with us. There are treasures both ancient and shiny found within, and you can claim as many as you like, for up to 75% off!

Rich, engaging 4X mechanics in a fantasy setting. RPG elements, exploration, and a complex magic and summoning system. These are some of the reasons why Master of Magic is still considered an unsurpassed classic by millions of strategy fans.

You should have never have agreed to serve a dark god without reading the fine print first. Now there will be Blood: One Unit Whole Blood. And it must come from all sorts of hellish creatures that have no right to walk the earth but are more than welcome to bleed all over it, as you blast them in the face.

Want to know what war will look like in the near future? Sparked by this Act of War: Gold Edition, it will feature intense, balanced, and gripping urban combat across the globe, full of tactical RTS elements and engrossing storytelling.

The vaults are open and finally <span class="bold">ATARI meets Codemasters</span>. The complete list of their treasures is still being filled out but early looters report finding Prisoner of Ice, Cannon Fodder 1+2, Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail, Race Driver: GRID, and many more valuables hidden inside, going for up to 75% off. The promo will last until May 31, 3:59 AM UTC.

Fairfox: Never played the RollerCoaster Tycoon series despite people raaaving about them (I likes Theme Park). I'd rather buy all that series than one, but Imma saving my monies for Speedball II on GOGie, so I guess pass.

mk47at: That sounds like a huge mistake to me.
I'm in the same situation though.
Don't worry, I'll play them, someday.

Zoltan999: TY sir......
Your welcome :D

Zoltan999: Anybody have thoughts on Act of War: Gold Edition? Is it pure RTS, or does it have at least a tactical pause? Can't go wrong for that discount anyway
The "tactical" element comes from managing your units. You can tell your infantry to hide behind cover to deal extra damage against approaching units, or tell them to crawl to make them undetectable until they're almost upon their targets; also, some units can be further specialized after they're created. That kind of thing. In other words, normal RTS stuff. :P

Unlike what radigram said, I wouldn't consider this a particularly hard game (though I haven't played the expansion yet), and I'd guess I'm maybe halfway through the main game (playing on "standard" difficulty, which is the easiest of the three settings), which has been mostly a cake walk so far. Unless the difficulty spikes toward the end, I'd say it's fine.

A lot of people compare the game to Command & Conquer: Generals. Having never played that, I can't compare, but I think it stands quite well on its own merits. The story is hackneyed, and the FMV cutscenes show all the skill of a Syfy original movie (only without the budget(!)), so don't expect anything high-caliber there. But the gameplay is really good. It's a shame multiplayer is dead (it used GameSpy).
Blood was the first game i bought here.
It was like a Test-Drive for me to test the GOG site. The versions i've tried prior to GOG's were glitchy, moving the mouse very awkwardly.
I was happy and now i have more than 900 games.

I'll buy the 1000th game (possibly on the Summer Sales) and gift it. You guessed it right. It will be Blood!

Epitaph666: It will be Blood!
So close.
Has anyone tried playing Race Driver: GRID with mouse & keyboard? (Yes, I know, "get a controller", but that's probably not gonna happen any time soon.) I'd like to try it, but not if the vehicles control like ass without me buying another peripheral.
Yet another promo from publishers who put almost no effort into supporting this place...

From my experience, the game controls just fine with keyboard. Sure you won't get "progressive acceleration throttle" and "synaptic feedback", or whatever, but the game is more of an arcade racer than a simulator, and it plays well enough with a keyboard.

Also, don't pay any attention to the 'get a controller, LOLZ' crowd.

radigram: Played years ago: trough a very interesting and promising game, it is hard as (pick a word). Especially the add-on with these ships and everything. Even on easy ...

Zoltan999: Gottcha thanks....do you recall if it had a "pause" function? I don't mind hard in RTS's if there is at least a pause function XD
You can pause the game with the "pause/break" key on the keyboard. You can still give orders and look around while the game is paused. It's not really a "feature" of the game, so to speak, but I used that a lot because I suck at RTSes.

Just tried this in Direct Action, and it didn't work (neither 'Pause' nor 'Break').

Hmm... maybe I'm misremembering which key it was then. I'm quite sure there was a dedicated pause key though. It might have been something I added in an .ini or something. I would check myself but I don't have the game installed at the moment.

Mazix7: But does anyone remember the last time that we had a Ubisoft sale? I really want to buy Anno 1404.
The last time Anno 1404 has been on sale was 7 weeks ago.
Well, cave in and grabbed Overlord.. now just need to find time to be a little bit evil!

IAmSinistar: Some good deals. Once again I have all I want from it, but folks are recommended to pick up the Blood and Call of Cthulhu games if they don't have them yet.
The Call of Cthullu games are very good.... i had the one on retail cd (the one with the boat adventure) when it arrived, got it on a cdrom, which i lost during moving so the disc is gone.

true, it is a bit sad that they seem to be only enjoying Steam and other DRM sites, cause they have more promos and new games are being released there.
