A classic omni-cure with prices miniature! 66% off Pharaoh, Arcanum, Quest for Glory 1-5, Phantasmagoria, and more!

They say time heals all ills. And if there's one sure cure for any known ailment, it's got to be time spent gaming. Whether you got the blues (pet hamster expired), the reds (a coworker ate your tuna sandwich) or the greens (coworker instagrammed himself in the act), spend some time with these classic beauties and everything will go away. Especially time. So join us in Activision Therapy with 66% off the price of admission, and emerge a new person!

Bah, they don't build cities like they used to anymore. We definitely got a thing or two to learn from the ancient Pharaohs, aside from pulling off that wicked eye-liner look. And that's how to manage majestic settlements, erect timeless monuments, and maintain a healthy economy based on trading goods.

So you want to be a hero? Perhaps a thief or a mage? The adventure/RPG series that defined and refined the formula of alternative gameplay paths based on your character's skills, puts you on a Quest for Glory across fairytale lands, where whimsical adventures and magical creatures await.

A cursed love story, spanning centuries of death, despair, and brutal exsanguinations. A party-based action/RPG with intense combat and immersive character development. The bloody quest of a fledgling vampire seeking justifiable Redemption. A true cult classic.

This should be all the prescription you need to begin your Activision Therapy. There are over 30 capsules of great fun inside this Weekend Promo, including Call to Power 2, the Zork series, Spycraft: The Great Game, the King's Quest saga, and many more! Just remember to sit down with them at least three times a day after each meal. The promo will last until March 8, 4:59 AM GMT.
Even some of the older Call of Duty games would be appreciated here. https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=call of duty&order=votes_total

Bring Call of Duty Warchest for $30, like on Steam.
Rather weak promo, I must say though (only Arcanum seemed worthwhile to me at that discount).

Wish Activision would finally get their asses up and start releasing more games here, as I'm not gonna get them on Steam or any other DRM-Platforms. Do these guys really dislike money that much...

Crosmando: Oh come on, everyone and their grandmother already bought these games ages ago. There are starving kids in Africa who own Arcanum.
Does that mean until a few minutes ago, I was worse off than starving kids in Africa :P

I would love to have that pack here. I just started the original Call of Duty yesterday, in fact. I haven't played one since Modern Warfare 3, but the original games are fantastic. :)
*still waiting for Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom and Caesar 1 + 2, among others*

Have everything by Activation for the time being. Hopefully that's not forever...

I have been delving in the Call of Duty franchise on PS2 and PS3 recently, I don't own any of them on PC, not because FPS's play better on console, they don't of course, but a second hand console version of any Call of Duty game is actually cheaper than buying one in a (Steam) sale.

Why does, like someone said before, salt keeps being rubbed in a wound with an Activision sale that shows the same old games for years now?

I would love to see MORE old games from Activision, for REASONABLE prices. Not a 10 year old Call of Duty 3 with a sale price on goddamn Steam of 19,99 minus 50%. Reasonable for such an old game would be sale on GOG for 9,99 minus 75%!

Any advice concerning Interstate '76 ? It's on my wishlist since a long time, but the compatibilities issues are each time preventing me. Is the game worth to buy if I have a Windows7 64bits, and a geforce GT440?
Any opinion is welcome :)

What about used copies of the PC games? They can be pretty cheap around the web (and the PC versions of Call of Duty are different than the PS2 ones).
I have been waiting for ages for SWAT3 to go on sale.

I hadn't thought of doing a web-search. I mostly buy my used games in physical stores and the stores in my home town don't sell 2nd hand PC games, just 2H console games.

Compatibility issues weren't an issue when I used the launcher (link should be in one of the stickies in the forum), at least the first time I used it anyways. After I rebuilt my hard drive one time, I used the launcher again but the game felt different than before but can't put my finger on what it was. However, it was still much more playable than without using the launcher. Also, I was still able to finish the game twice on two different HD builds with the launcher without much trouble.

Of course, this has just been my experience, your milage may vary.

Just incase it's relevant, I also have an old video card, a geforce GT 520M :P

Every opinion/experience is appreciated :)
Hum... It sounds not that bad. I've never played the game... Is experience still enjoyable, even with the strange feeling ?
Well judging by the popularity chart, there are still a number of people that didn't have games from this promo - a lot of the games got into Top 20, and Pharaoh and Zeus made it into Top 10. That's of course assuming this chart is based on the number of sold games, and not on the number of people viewing the games' pages (though that still implies there are people not familiar with the games) or just a marketing tool with no real data behind it.

Anyone from GOG's staff to clarify how games get sorted by popularity here?
Appreciate yet another opportunity to get a deal on these games. But you know what would be better? If you could get Activision to license even more games for you to distribute. Cause, last I checked, they've published many, many other games that deserve to be on this site.
