NuffCatnip: No, you dont give away burgers....even if that means letting these NPC´s starve.
Its one of those principles you never break. :P

Tamamba: Amen. Say, do you know when the next cheeseburger picnic is?

Leroux: Oh, I forgot about GamersGate, sorry. Hm, one review over there from 2014 claims it does have Starforce DRM ...
It's a possibility, but GamersGate does indicate games that carry Starforce like Guild II from the Guild Collection and King's Bounty: Crossworlds. I guess that a ticket to support might clear that out.
GOG recently added to the catalog, not a Diablo clone but it can serve as a substitute to scratch that action RPG itch. If branching out into action adventure territory is of interest, it's worth checking out [url=http://www.gog.com/game/silver]Silver and the Ecstatica series. Silver has aged better than Ecastatica 1 +2, those games can be quite aggravating. Re-spawning enemies and old school controls, non-stop fighting but practically no RPG elements. But the atmosphere is great, especially Ecstatica 2 is quite dark despite the cartoony style.

For a straight up shameless Diablo clone, I recommend checking out Blade & Sword, pretty much Diablo but with a Chinese theme, made by a Chinese company. Smooth gameplay, virtually no learning curve for Diablo players. Only has 3 character classes: A quick female assassin, a slow but heavy warrior and a standard "allround swordsman hero" type.
Skill trees are simpler than in Diablo and self-explanatory. The only immediate difference to Diablo is that you can hold down a key to block attacks so you can bunker up and once the enemies made their attacks you can quickly attack yourself. Other than that it's straight up Diablo gameplay with run-of-the-mill simple quests, potions shop, bosses etc. Loot system isn't as good as Diablo but that's to be expected. I didn't finish the game with any of the 3 characters. it became too boring too quickly and the enemies have a lot of HP on normal and hard difficulty. I recommend playing on easy because otherwise it's a waste of time, the game isn't overly difficult but it takes ages to smash a simple zombie and that's just too much grind. Even on easy the monsters have more health than they have in Diablo at the beginning.

I know the meaning, I misread that part. :P
Its not only the female characters, the egyptian sorcerer seems to be on a diet aswell.
The only beefy character is the norse warrior it seems.

You people make me sick! Back then there weren't nearly as many fast food chains as there are today (Cairo only had one Taco Bell) and Krispy Kreme's were only available in Iceland so DUH, it stands to reason that everyone would be a lot skinnier!

Seriously, learn your history before you make these kind of comments!
lol!

deathknight1728: Silverfall (I am horrible at this game yet it is fun and has a cool setting)
I thought i was the only person that enjoyed Silverfall..

Should check out Mage Knight Apocalypse... its very fun and plays sort of like a mix of Silverfall and Dungeonsiege

I never actually played the game. I just remembered that I already back then made fun of the skinny PCs when I saw screenshots of it.

Don't suck up to tinye as the backstabber will report you.
Wait, so you want more Dark Souls then?
Wait, deus GOG sell SOFT games?
Well vult, they don't :P

But we need more games like those, except for the crazy grinding.
Did anyone mention Din's Curse?

others have mentioned Grim Dawn and Path of Exile. Played both and both are very good, Grim is super dark, but steam :(
PoE is free to play (for realz, no hidden crap) and the closest thing to diablo 2 i can find. i really really like this game.

edit: derp, you mentioned it in your opening post. ignore me, move along!

I think Din's Curse is Diablo Clone Xtreme. XD

You can be attacked while you are in town getting supplies and resting. THAT'S CHEATING! :P
