Hawkins85: Now that the downloader is gone, I'm back to resorting to downloading the large individual file downloads that are slower and fail in the browser persistently.
It's not what you or I or many others here want, but without the GOG Downloader, I recommend using a third party program like Free Download Manager 5, so that you can queue your game downloads, have some kind of checking, plus pause and resume, and also set the download speed. I have it enabled with a browser addon, and setup so that when I hold down ALT while clicking on a download link, that program takes over the downloading. https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
Once downloaded, you can then test out the integrity of the downloads using InnoExtract and 7-Zip etc. To simplify that and give a batch option for checking all at once, I have made a frontend program for those third party programs, which works via drag & drop.
