Posts get auot-deleted when reported as spam by enough people - how many? I don't know, but it works like this since I can remember. Expect for the wishlist where reports seem to go to a deep dark place no one ever visits.

And the timespan for consecutive posts by the same poster to not be merged is 10mins, not seconds.

If the number of reports isn't very high, scammers could manage to auto-delete proof-posts or even legit posts\threads.
I saw that quickie-something's posts disappear just recently, so I was wondering.
Maybe I'm just paranoid :P

10mins? I thought max 1! Lol, then I reached that limit a few times without knowing XD
Anyway, with a single-post restriction, spambots would be quite blocked.

His posts disappear because peeps around here are not satisfied to just down-vote them, they also hit that "report as spam" linky. ;-)

You think they are less hesitant about banning something that's most likely a bot? I remember not too long ago it could go on for the better part of a half hour before getting banned...

gog uses now the force to ban such bots within a minute, with lucas arts onboard everything is possible
