I noticed that some of these magical posts vanish as I report them as spam. Are they deleted automatically, not by the GOG staff? And if yes, does anyone know how many members should report a post as spam for it to be automatically deleted?

I'm just wondering if there's a possibility for a controversial topic to be deleted if some number of opposed people (or their alts) unjustifiably report them as spam.

Probably internally the post has a counter if someone marks it as spam, and if 5 or more (or some odd number) all say it's spam, then it's probably spam and it's hidden until the admins have a chance to look at it... Technically it's still there, we just don't see it....

Suspended means they would contact GoG and could get it activated again if they prove they aren't spamming, or at worst it's a slap on the hand.

Besides i'm talking about whole threads, not individual posts...

No need as I ban them personally, much more satisfying :D I do wish that I could use a banhammer to ban spammers from the internet entirely :D

Thanks! But is there any possibility that a non-spam post is deleted if it receives some number of unfair spam-reports? Is TECHNOLOGY powerful enough to prevent that? :)
