BlueMooner: Do you guys have an official policy for spammers? Is there ever a point where you ban the account? What if someone's spamming AND they own games?
I wish we had the kind of policy where we could pull the old Jay and Silent Bob maneuver but that could get expensive :D

Glad to hear that you didn't spent most of your weekend cleaning spam.

Regarding the amount and persistence of the spamming - either GOG got very popular, or a couple of members are on infected systems and don't know about it.
Was there ever a case of the latter? And does GOG do anything, like inform the involved party?

Those were brand new accounts and we have no way of telling if someone's part of a botnet of sorts.
