I'm guessing, as someone suggested, the bots might have managed to get free games and therefore break the new post restrictions.
However if that's the case it would suggest who ever is behind this has been continually trying so keep spamming since GoG managed to block them... which is somewhat worrying as you'd imagine once thwarted they would just give up and move to a new site..

And now even here :( Can't GOG use some common spam ip block list for registration, like in adblock plus extension or some anti-robot technology prior registering? And if a legitimate user failed to register he could write to support to create account for him/her instead that could be later personalized.

Someone should make a giveaway thread and bury it among the spam topics.
