Thanks for this post. It's been driving me crazy. Good to know it's not just me.

I tried to buy games multiple times today, with no success. It would always fail at some step, and could never process the payment due to server failures on GOG side.

I love how actual GOG paying customers get penalized because of some commercial deal with Amazon, it truly shows where the priorities are…

I had the same redeem issue yesterday and today.

Yesterday was gog store activations and today was amazon activations.
Hopefully they fix it soon.
Pretty sure it will be top priority.

I recommend people wait until tomorrow. I have already lost one key that is now marked as already used, despite my not having received the game.

The fact that we're even redeeming keys manually is unfortunate. When redeeming titles through Prime Gaming with the Epic store, the title is automatically added to the user's linked library. Hoping Gog starts offering the same redemption flow.

I certainly hope they do not. With keys, one can gift games that one already owns or is not interested in to others, which I --- and many others --- do regularly. This is impossible with the library linking method.

I don't know if this is related, but the new captcha system is horrible. I had to click through two different captchas, one putting in the code and one to redeem it. I was redeeming Amazon Prime ones, and it was about 5 minutes of clicking captchas for each code. That's way too long.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying. I suspect that having multiple CAPTCHA passes is trying to screen out bot activity related to the activation problems (or something like that). Hopefully once they get what ever problems they're having under control the CAPTCHAs will be dialed back.

Perhaps don't give out codes on things like Amazon Prime if you aren't able to have a functioning system. No wonder companies are pulling games from GoG.

Sadly lost a good handful of my codes telling me they have been redeemed, but never hit my account at all.

The recaptcha is most annoying. I enter a code and recaptcha comes up. It can run me through it up to 12x before it accepts. I then click Redeem and recaptcha comes up again for another 1 to 12x.

BUT WAIT! Theres more!

I was having trouble logging in so I wanted to reset my password... recaptcha comes up in the center of the page, then moves slightly left and up. This obscures the entire top row of images.

I then used my phone and the (needless) fat white bar with text at the bottom was blocking the lower part of the recaptcha including the button to continue. The only saving grace here is that the recaptcha scrolls up with the page to reveal what should already be visible.

This is just terrible implementation. I blame the designers entirely.

There's really no way of knowing. Some do appear later, some do not.
