I get the feeling this little beatemup would feel right at home on GOG. The hero of Way of the Passive Fist is not a fighter who follows the Final Fight school of smackdown. Instead he looks more like Kwai Chang Caine, silently deflecting blows before finding the right moment to push his foe over.

After watching this review, I'm pondering picking it up on Steam, but if a GOG version is being planned, then I'd gladly pay money for that.

I have no idea what any of that meant. But the game look pretty good, despite those inescable pixels (I'm starting to think there were less pixelated games in the 90s). At least it has a distinct style. Still, I'd rather get Shank here finally.

Only mention I see is a preview release on Humble:

I do not recognize the publisher, Household Games, either.

You are very prejudice against pixels.

Could it possible be that your poor opinion of pixels predates your pension for computers. My I presume that perhaps your parents planted in you your antipathy for pixels?

It's positively depressing.
I'm more depressed about both Final Fight and Kwai Chang Caine flying over his head. :/

I thought I was being rather complimentary of the game all things considered :P

That looks and sounds quite naff. Let's stand in the middle of the screen and block until the enemy (or player for that matter) runs out of energy or falls asleep. Don't actually need to animate the main guy as he does nothing, just stands there looking like some spotty oil with cold. Me I would rather play a ninja or some something, zipping around slicing and kicking. Played wulverblade recently which is this genre, that was ok:

I don't really mind the idea behind Passive Fist, but damn Wulverblade looks amazing. Now those are truly fantastic graphics. I rest my anti-pixel case, no further evidence is needed. I'd definately buy it if it ever comes to GOG, and I'm not even that big a fan of the genre.

Graphically it's pretty good, fairly good selection of enemies. Bit short, there is only seven levels though.
time to mention One Finger Death Punch again?

ps. Breja - no pixels
