i loaded the new game + with hearts of stone too to start a new game and the ground even in buildings is water. makes great for indoor pools but not for a game . would appreciate any help.

There's a ton of it on the tap, yes, but I haven't found any in the cupboard yet. I'll keep looking.

It might be an Easter Egg. In Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries, they celebrate the New Year with a Water Festival (called "Songkran" in Thailand), where people splash water everywhere and such. So just like around Ghristmas you might see Geralt wearing a red Xmas cap or such (a Christmas Easter Egg), now you see water everywhere.

There seems to be a bug with that Easter Egg though as the Water Festival is in the New Year of the Buddhist/Hindu solar calendar, not the Gregorian Calendar. So the Easter Egg shouldn't actually be triggered until April the 13th or so, when the Water Festival actually takes place.

Understandable mistake, but still.

Has the GoG general section become the Witcher 3 board now?
I see those threads pop up on a regular basis.
If it's about other games, they are put into the right subforum most of the time.

What do you mean, "now"? ;) These have been popping up now and again since the game first released. In fact, it used to be WAAAY worse. These days, I only notice one of these topics here every couple weeks or so (maybe even less often). Frankly, there are at least as many topics for other games (sometimes by forum regulars) in General than for W3.
Curiously, though, the Witcher 3 topics are much less likely to mention the game's name in the topic title -- or even the OP! -- than these other threads. I would imagine such posts are made by people who only use Galaxy for that game, and pretty much think of GOG/Galaxy as "the Witcher client/store".

Actually, a large proportion of 'em never show up again at all, angry or otherwise.
