Actually I'm currently rewatching (and watching some newer (to me at least)) episodes of the Poirot TV series. The older episodes are still excelent to watch.

Other favourites shows of mine I can rewatch in a heartbeat: Allo-Allo and Blackadder.

Now, cartoons on the other hand, I haven't rewatch any and I'm a bit unsure of what they would look like now. There is one I've rewatched recently, which still stands against the effects of time: Ox Tales! Mind you, I watched the Portuguese dubbed version, which was an extremely funny one, so that helped! Funny thing, although I hadn't seen the cartons for over 20 years, I could still vividly remember characters names, expressions and even scenes!

I got my cousin into Are You Afraid of the Dark by buying him and his brother Seasons 1-4 on DVD from Amazon for Christmas. Funny thing was he didn't think he'd be into it at first. Now he's half-way through Season 2.

Nope, nobody forced you to be destructive.

You know quite well, that if some sect is trying to force taboos on everyone, it's just too tempting to mock it and the PI culture is just as authoritarian as everything it's supposed to stand against.

Every attempt of control will inevitably lead to resistance and mockery is just the best case.
