Take part in one of the most desperate struggles during WWII. WARSAW from gaming company is a turn-based tactical RPG taking place in a war-torn city and featuring beautiful hand-painted graphics. As a leader of a small, dedicated outfit of civilians and soldiers with their unique skills you must fight to take back the city besieged by occupying forces.

Until 17th March 2020, 2 PM UTC, the game is available on GOG.COM with a 44% discount.
Link to gamepage doesn`t work.

Ah, now it works. Hm, DX 11? For those graphics? Well, that won`t run om my laptop. That`s sad, I would by this, if it would run on my laptop.

Looks good.
Damn, I had just given up waiting for it to come to GOG and picked it up on Steam a few weeks ago instead.

Hope it'll come to GOG Connect at some point.

You realize DX11 is over a decade old already. Developers need to move on eventually, you know.
Wow! I am surely having it !

Finally!
Was not this part of history thoroughly wiped from the history books?

Anyway, a link to wikipedia's article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Uprising

Wiped? Really? So why is there a Wikipedia link to this event then? ;)

Bought.

I guess it may have been omitted, or at least heavily modified, from history lessons in schools in the east block before the fall of the Soviet Union. Anyone from the east who is a bit elder who can confirm? The British and German and others were involved too so the world as a whole knew later on. I guess I am still a bit stuck in the (bad) old times.

Also, do not confuse this game with the removed game Warsow!

Nice. I always thought it was weird that a game about Poland would not appear on gaming's penultimate Polish distributor.
Great! Will certainly pick up sooner-than-later to play alongside CI's Enemy Front.
Looks like Darkest Dungeon with a different setting to me.

Not that I complain, I dig this stuff. Wishlisted.
I love the comic style graphics.

But...the game looks like it plays more or less exactly like "Darkest Dungeon", and unfortunately, that was a game which I didn't enjoy.

Yeah,...just checked a review. They even pull "Darkest Dungeon" as a comparison to this, and the description "the game is frustrating, and -at times- even unfair", keeps me from buying it.

Well, obviously I can't speak for other countries, but as a German, born and raised in Western Germany, I can assure you, the Warsaw Uprising had its own chapter in our history books in school.

I see the Darkest Dungeon vibe has been covered. I hate Darkest Dungeon, but I guess there is a lot more to hate in that game than just the combat style, which seems to be the only thing this game inherits. Does this game disallow proper save slots? Does this game punish you completely randomly for making progress?
