We're also launching these five heavily requested titles with big, weeklong discounts:

tfishell: They have Midway Games backlog or at least a chunk of it.
Midway? Hmm, so games like The Suffering or Area 51?

gandalfnho: Nice to see Warner here, probably will geat F.E.A.R. at some moment in the future. And hope with both Warner and EA in GOG, they manage to reach a agreement to bring the Battle for Middle-Earth series
The Battle For Middle Earth game series is EA, and while EA has games on GOG they don't seem to ever release any more here, and BFME games have not been sold or supported by them for several years now sadly. I'm guessing they don't own the rights to remarket them either, the licensing of the LOTR trademarks etc. is rather fickle.

I maintain a list of "dead to me" game companies to which I've had serious problems with due to terrible DRM, or some other poor customer experience. The list currently consists of (worst first): 1) Rockstar Games 2) Ubisoft 3) EA Games 4) Warner Bros. Those are companies that I refuse to ever knowingly buy their games unless they change their business practices to be more consumer friendly so I am happy to see Warner showing up here on GOG. While these companies are on my "list", I make exceptions for DRM-free games on GOG and so I own some of Ubi and EA's games here. I figure we have to reward these companies when they make the right choice that is consumer friendly afterall.

As such I look forward to seeing more WB titles show up here and will likely pick up some of them in the future, and hope to see them bring more titles here as well! Hopefully EA and Ubi aren't far behind and embrace DRM-free for newer titles too. Would definitely be nice to see EA resurrect the BFME games for sure!

phaolo: Btw, how are the lego games?
Which are the best among all, even if not here, yet?

stg83: The really good ones started from LEGO Batman 2 and most recently LEGO Marvel Superheroes was really well received as the best LEGO game so far. Also the others LEGO games like LOTR and Star Wars games are quite popular as well.
But that really depends on how you like racing/flying stuff etc. In my opinion the Batman 2 and Marvel Superheroes games were ok but also often quite annoying. For me the Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Star Wars and Lego Lord of the Ring games rate much higher.
I hope Warner Bros. would also release some 80's movies here in GOG! ;)
Wow, well done, gog. And no regional pricing either apprently.

Cool!

Question: does this version of FEAR runs as badly as the one on Steam? It doesn't seem like a game that scales well with more powerful rigs...

Aturuxo: The Lego games are good fun. They're all pretty much alike, but I'd say you can't go wrong with Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy.
I think they're a different Publisher though - Disney rather than WB, if ponly we had THEM on board, oh, wait...
Welcome to GOG, Warner Bros.!!!
That I did not expect to see. Well done!
Well this was a welcome surprise. Instabought all but mortal kombat (just not my cup of tea).

WB Interactive!!!

Great Get GOG!

Daliz: The Mortal Kombat trilogy is dosbox, right?
yup
Absolutely marvellous -- couldn't believe it when saw that WB are now on GOG!

F.E.A.R. is definitely an insta-buy for me!! :-D

Yep -- probably too many exclamation marks, but I'm feeling a little hyped right now!!! :-)

Of course Disney is included into the Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones stuff. But I am not sure who has the rights of these games. Since they were made by Traveller Tales which was bought by Warner Bros. So lets just hope with both Disney and WB here we can have them on gog :D
F'me sideways with a pointy stick. Where did this come from! Had no idea this was coming, looks like a whole raft of new debts tonight!

Well done GOG.

I think so, though there was something about the US Army giving those away for free years ago. Personally I do hope they show up even as paid items; I had a blast with Area 51 and The Suffering looks interesting.
QUICK QUESTION, the MK games here, are they the exact same version ie the arcade collection, as the ones released on Steam, or are they the original three PC versions MK games in that form? Because if they are the latter, YEEEEESSS!!!
