Those Lego games are a definite no, as to my knowledge they've only ever had local co-op. You can't add Galaxy online support to games that never had network functionality. As for other older games, GOG has been pretty tight lipped as to whether support for older games would be present. There was a message about it by a blue shortly after Galaxy's announcement stating that it would be a case by case basis.
AWESOME NEWS!!!
Thank you and Congrats, GOG!!! Your hard work and dedication to your business model of bringing great DRM-FREE entertainment, is highly appreciated. Your new acquisitions are amazing and exciting to say the least!

I think I can speak for my fellow GOG'ers in the sense that you make us all feel like winners!!! Your consistent releases of great games, great prices and sales (that make me ALMOST feel guilty in partaking), has earned you guys a HUGE following and dedicated customers for LIFE!

This, along with your recent LucasFilms agreement, has got me as giddy as kid walking into a toy store for the first time!

I just want it be known that I sincerely appreciate each and every member of team GOG! You guys are the BEST and appreciate everything you do for your dedicated community!!

I LOVE GOG.COM!!!!

***I think it would be cool if my fellow GOG'ers would reply with the number of games in their libraries and comment a bit on their favorite GOG title/series!!*****

Me, I'm at 104 and counting!! My favorite games are the Tex Murphy series! When these games came out, they were so entertaining, creative and innovative for their times. My most exciting "GOG moment" was to see Chris Jones reprising his role in "Tesla Effect", offered DRM-FREE here at GOG.COM! That was an insta-pre-order for me!
I hope this will open up possibilities for some Games which were developed by studios that now belong to WB:

- Area 51 and Blacksite (Dev+Publisher: Midway/Warner)
- Drakan: Order of the Flame (Dev: Surreal Studios, Publisher: Psygnosis/Sony)
- No One Lives Forever Games and Aliens vs. Predator 2 (Dev: Monolith, Publisher: Sierra/Activision)

I don´t know how this licencing chaos works, but is it actually possible to cross-licence a game from two different copyright/licence holders?

Maybe, with WB (and Middle-Earth) on gog.com, it would be even possible to bring back the EA LotR Games, especially BfME 1+2.

Surreal Software also developed The Suffering 1+2 with Midway as publisher so that could also be a possibility.

*thumbsup* Especially for Area 51 (2005) :)

And AvP 2 could theoretically happen if somehow WB got the rights from Activision or the publishing rights expired by now, however that works.

I do think we'll be seeing NOLF here within the coming months if not sooner.

skeletonbow: Mind you, I have actually waited on some games to have them come to GOG eventually but have multiplayer stripped out (ie: Full Spectrum Warrior series) and ended up buying it on a Steam sale somewhere instead and feeling bad about it but at least having multiplayer that works. I'm not real big on buying another copy of something I already own that does work well enough but there is a good chance during a GOG mega promo for me to buy some games I do already own elsewhere if they're heavily discounted enough even if I don't need them - just "because". :)
Yeah, I'm not really one to buy twice either. I spend too much on games as it is. Though it hasn't happened often where I have a game GOG offers from somewhere else. But I did get Bastion in a Humble Bundle and while it is great to see it here on GOG now, I don't plan on buying it again unless, like you said, it has a heavy discount. Then I might consider it.
NOLF would be a instabuy although I already have the GOTY edition which works fine on Modern systems.
Will 2015 be the best year for GOG yet? It sure looks like it!
Awesome. I can finally look forward to inevitably being able to buy some more Mortal Kombat and Batman titles in the future.

Getting Warner Bros in this ship is a great move.

Now get Activision and Blizzard as well.
Really hope the NOLF 1&2 problems can be solved so it could be released in GOG someday.

I know Night Dive is really working on this. Maybe someday we would all be lucky to see it re-released.

Have the various rights owners come to some kind of agreement to make this happen, and if so does anyone have a link to an article online somewhere about it? It would be an interesting development to say the least.

Nope. Nothing of the sort. Last news about NOLF was that Activision weren't sure they owned the IP (2 years ago) and that Night Dive filed a trademark for the names (last year).
