Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment comes to GOG.com.

We're on a roll! We're happy to announce that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment joins the GOG.com catalog to make the world of DRM-free gaming that much better today. We're starting off with six widely requested titles:

Let's start big:
Mortal Kombat 1+2+3 just got the GOG.com treatment. If you were having a hard time getting these notorious bits of gaming history to run on your computer, boy do we have a surprise for you!

We're also launching these five heavily requested titles with big, weeklong discounts:

LEGO Batman: The Videogame -50%
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1 - 4 -60%
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 -60%
F.E.A.R. Platinum -50%
Bastion -60%

It's yet another great start to yet another great publisher debut on GOG.com, let's get our fill!

mistermumbles: But wouldn't he have to use protection then? I guess we can all blame F4LLOUT then if DRM comes to GOG. =P
Heh! Usually a good antibiotic is all you need when that burning starts. ;D
I know that this is probably stretching it but any chance for Dying Light by Techland to be released on gog.com since Warner Bros is the publisher for it? It would definitely be a mustbuy for me since I love zombiegames.

opticq: When have these LEGO games been offered DRM free?
avatar
yyahoo: I believe that all of the Lego games released today had retail disc releases that at least didn't have any online activations, Steam or otherwise. Some would view that as DRM-free.
Well I consider a disc check a form of DRM, so this seems like the only true DRM-free release of any of TT Games' LEGO games.

DRM is in the eye of the beholder...

I'm on the bandwagon that says if I can install and play a game without the need to go online and activate it in some way, then it's DRM-free. If you want to get strict, you could argue that the codewheels from PC games in the 80's were DRM.

{shrug}
F.E.A.R !!!
!!! Y.E.S !!!
I was hoping for a great release today but what we got was more than a handful of unexpected great releases.
Thank you for your hard work for getting publishers to sign deals with you. I can imagine it's pretty hard to convince them DRM free releases of their games won't harm them or that DRM is pretty useless s§!& in most cases (I think you used more fitting words :-P ).
Keep up the great work! You made my day more awesome! Thanks.

GOG, I FEAR I'm going to have to LEGO of all my money if you keep this up!!!
I already have Bastion DRM free on HB so onthe wishlist it goes. I also have F.E.A.R. there but only as a Steam key so insta-buy.
I'm only on my second beer and I'm having hallucinations, I'd swear the front page says Warner Bros is now on GOG.
The bottle does say 5.5%, they probably misplaced the decimal point.
Man, I wonder if there are any obscure old titles in Warner Brothers catalog of games - hope we see some of them here in the future!

Also, so glad to see F.E.A.R. finally here!
Congratulations GOG on another excellent addition to the catalog! =D
WOW! I didn't see that one coming! Thanks GOG Team for bringing yet another big publisher with great games - ohhh MORTAL KOMBAT!!

Define old. WB has only been in the game making business since around 2005. That said, they acquired Midway at some point in time (obviously, with the MK release here on GOG), so there could be some old obscure Midway games out there as possibilities.

IAmSinistar: Is the latter a result of the former? If so, consult your physician. ;)
I think I should rather consult a physicist.

Anything pre-2005 really - I wouldn't be surprised with WB has picked up some licenses for old code/games on the cheap at some point. Would be nice to see whatever there was when it comes to old Midway PC stuff at the very least.
