Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment comes to GOG.com.

We're on a roll! We're happy to announce that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment joins the GOG.com catalog to make the world of DRM-free gaming that much better today. We're starting off with six widely requested titles:

Let's start big:
Mortal Kombat 1+2+3 just got the GOG.com treatment. If you were having a hard time getting these notorious bits of gaming history to run on your computer, boy do we have a surprise for you!

We're also launching these five heavily requested titles with big, weeklong discounts:

LEGO Batman: The Videogame -50%
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1 - 4 -60%
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5 - 7 -60%
F.E.A.R. Platinum -50%
Bastion -60%

It's yet another great start to yet another great publisher debut on GOG.com, let's get our fill!
Just went on the site to see what new games there is & OMG you got Warner bros onboard.
Pretty cool bunz son.
No instabuys this time, but MK and F.E.A.R. marched straight into my wishlist. This was indeed great news! =)
I own all those games. Now, I'm waiting Batman AA, Batman AC, Batman AK. Shadows of mordor and Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Mortal Kombat X...
Well, seeing as how WB owns the old Midway properties, time raid Mobygames and see which ones have DOS and Windows versions and add them to the voting wishlist.

Siegor: Good news overall. If Bastion is here then maybe there's hope for Transistor

groze: Transistor wasn't published by WB, Supergiant Games decided to self-publish it. And, since they're a small-ish studio, I honestly don't see those guys making a version of the game that ditches all that Steamworks integration crap, so they can release it here on GOG.

From the Supergiant Transistor's official FAQ:

Will there be a stand-alone DRM-free version of Transistor for PC?

We have no plans for a stand-alone installer for Transistor at this time. The Steam version of the game includes various features that require Steam, such as cloud saves, achievements, and trading cards, and for launch we did not want to create a separate version lacking these features. Note we have put no DRM in Transistor unless you count Steam as a form of DRM. Once you've downloaded the game from Steam, you don't need Steam to be running in order to play.

Ah the "Paradox Interactive excuse". Steamworks blah blah blah... no DRM apart from Steam blah blah blah...
Sonja wins!
HOLY SHIT.

I hope Scribblenauts is coming & why is The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in this list :/
Interesting publisher to sign on. Interesting launch lineup; very modern, but then, I suppose Warner Bros doesn't actually have a lot of classic games, unless they've bought out companies that did. I won't hold my breath on them being the first publisher to release their AAA games on GOG, so I'm not sure what that actually leaves, but hopefully their will be some nice surprises.

The Mortal Kombat game that I played (probably the first) was stiff and unpleasant, and I don't suppose very many peope would have cared about it if it hadn't been gory for its time. The Lego games ... I've never played one, but maybe I should. They always seem to get good reviews. Bastion and F.E.A.R. are instabuy.

Because the retail version of the enhanced edition was published by Warner Bros in America. Retail version of Witcher 3 will also be published by Warner Bros in America.
I guess I'm a little late to the party, but...

HOLY SHIT.

Did they post any announcements or teasers for this at all, or was it a complete surprise? Very impressive. I wonder if this means we'll also get some Disney and WB film classics eventually?

And of course I'm all out of spare coin for video games for now. But I'll definitely buy some from this batch. Keep it up GOG!
Impressive achievement GOG! I guess getting WB to publish Witcher 3 was a good way of getting your foot in the door. Sneaky, sneaky!

You broke my heart with this. Bastion took a while to get on GOG, but Transistor...
Oh nice. I hope lots of people buy Bastion. I know it's quite widely-owned by now, but if you don't have it already then you should really consider buying it now. It's a lot of fun, and that narrator is pure distilled awesome :p

If only it was on GOG when it launched I'd have probably bought it right away instead of eventually picking it up in a bundle.
