We're on a roll! We're happy to announce that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment joins the GOG.com catalog to make the world of DRM-free gaming that much better today. We're starting off with six widely requested titles:

Let's start big:
Mortal Kombat 1+2+3 just got the GOG.com treatment. If you were having a hard time getting these notorious bits of gaming history to run on your computer, boy do we have a surprise for you!

We're also launching these five heavily requested titles with big, weeklong discounts:

LEGO Batman: The Videogame -50%
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1 - 4 -60%

F.E.A.R. Platinum -50%
Bastion -60%

It's yet another great start to yet another great publisher debut on GOG.com, let's get our fill!

triock: Well, WB does not have the rights for Condemned - https://www.facebook.com/JaceHallShow/posts/10152999663109303

Grargar: Tfishell says otherwise.
Yes, pretty much any time I've seen Condemned come up for sale, it seems to have the Sega brand on it. So I think they'd be the ones who'd have to give it the go-ahead.

Siegor: Good news overall. If Bastion is here then maybe there's hope for Transistor
Transistor wasn't published by WB, Supergiant Games decided to self-publish it. And, since they're a small-ish studio, I honestly don't see those guys making a version of the game that ditches all that Steamworks integration crap, so they can release it here on GOG.

From the Supergiant Transistor's official FAQ:
Will there be a stand-alone DRM-free version of Transistor for PC?

We have no plans for a stand-alone installer for Transistor at this time. The Steam version of the game includes various features that require Steam, such as cloud saves, achievements, and trading cards, and for launch we did not want to create a separate version lacking these features. Note we have put no DRM in Transistor unless you count Steam as a form of DRM. Once you've downloaded the game from Steam, you don't need Steam to be running in order to play.

vicklemos: Can you sell me on this one? I know it's a great title, but it's relatively unknown to some, me included :)
Think of it like Fear but with investigation and cop theme added to it and same graphics engine but a tad bit better in textures and what not. it has a scary atmosphere and very gory moments like the school scene you go to which was insanely fucked up great, here is a gameplay video showing some of the gameplay and a + you don't need a powerful pc to run this at all like fear needed.

I never thought I would think this, but it's awesome that a big publisher like WB has Bastion rather than their proDRM indie developers. What a world, right?
That's nice. Will we see Shadow of Mordor though? ;)
Fuck me ! I go away for a while, and this happens :P
Welcome Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to GoG!

I can finally play Fear for the first time (instabuy!).

Bastion looks exceptional too, and there is lots of drool all over this thread for that game.

All of these new releases are worthy of consideration, all in all, a great day for PC gaming, indeed.

At least you made it back in time for the show. :P

Not bad GOG, not bad :)
One isn't online for a couple of hours and what a big event came meanwhile :)
Thanks GOG!
Warner going DRMFREE??!!!

I'm shocked!

O.O

ps: There was a multilanguage DRMFREE version of F.E.A.R. on getgames, but it was replaced by the steam version... (but I was able to download it before the change :)
Great. Any plans about subscribing 2K games too?

Also, will WB release their recent games here or only older titles like EA did?

I have to say this was not expected. A good pick up indeed.
Say what now? I don't think anyone saw this coming... at all. If they say they did, they're lying! =P

That's some really awesome news to have WB join GOG. So how about that Shadow of Mordor? =P Yeah, okay, maybe that's a bit too optimistic at this time. Anyway.... WHEEEEEE!!!! :)

Grargar: For starters, why the hell aren't you here yet?
I kid you not, i'm not a fan of fighting games, i'm not really into MK even if it is for me the best fighting game and has a really good lore and... uhm... i don't really play that much with Cyrax...
As for your question, these avatars were rolled out at the same day that GOG announced that there would be a merge of CDPR/GOG accounts.
Oh, i thought it was some internet movement or something that i have missed.

Let us know the next time you're going to head off, so that we can save up our money in advance. :)

There's a chance, since they were one of the companies mentioned in GOG's "we're getting a big publisher" announcement. Very likely GOG was in discussions with all of them, and is hammering out agreements where possible. The recent brief release of a DRM-free version of Bioshock gives me added hope.
