The ultimate Warhammer series festival has arrived: it’s time for Warhammer Skulls 2024!

That’s right! Straight from Warhammer, it’s finally here again – the annual celebration of one of the most iconic and influential universes of all time. Being incredibly proud to be a part of it, we thought it’d only be appropriate to prepare an absolute feast for all Warhammer fans. And here it is, overflowing with goodness – you can now unleash chaos, forge alliances, and conquer realms with deals up to 90% off, and secure ultimate power with two GOG exclusive bundles!

Now, let’s take a closer look, shall we?

One of the gems of this year is Warhammer RPG Bundle, available only during the Skulls 2024 event on GOG. The Bundle contains three iconic titles of the series: Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Deluxe Edition, Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition and Mordheim: City of the Damned. You’re in for a treat – not only saving an additional 5% in comparison to buying the games separately, but also, most of all, signing up for the ultimate RPG experience.

In Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, you begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, travelling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. It’s the newest instalment of the series – and available in such an intriguing bundle, and at such price. You wouldn’t want to miss it!

Another highlight you won’t be able to resist is a Warhammer Strategy Bundle. That’s right, also time limited, available only on GOG! With this set, you’ll get a total of 4 incredible games: Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach and Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. Thanks to the Bundle you’ll be able to save an additional 29% in comparison to buying the titles separately; now, that’s what we call strategy!

Naturally, Warhammer Skulls celebrates all the amazing video games based in the Warhammer universe – so outside the captivating bundles, we’ve also prepared a variety of great bargains for you to discover! Check out deals such as:

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (-30%)
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 - Complete Edition (-63%)
Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition (-90%)
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - T'au (-15%)

tedeee: that Warhammer RPG bundle is insane value. shame i already have the games.

CthuluIsSpy: How does it work if you already own one of them? I have Mordheim already, so will it get deducted?
It is not a completion bundle, so there is a single price. When purchased, the bundle's copy of Mordheim vanishes into thin air.

In my case

Please note that Mordheim: City of the Damned AND Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition is included in Warhammer RPG Bundle but you already own this item, and will not receive another copy when you buy this pack.

eric5h5: (And who knows, if it works in Wine I might even play it someday. :) )
There's a Linux build available, but (on GOG at least) it's behind the Windows one and is dynamically linked to an outdated libstdc++ it seems :\
The developer seems to take Linux seriously and be responsive, so it might eventually get updated to run and to match the Windows version. Or they might need some prodding. Or GOG does; actually, they might be the ones blocking an update from going through right now, who knows?

Syphon72: Gladius is a great game, but it's pretty much a clone of their first game, Pandora: First Contact, Gold Edition. In terms of gameplay and graphics, I definitely suggest at least getting all-faction DLC with the game. Like Ueber said, the gameplay feels a little like RTS thanks to faster gameplay and no diplomacy. There is only war!
How can a TBS have 'fast gameplay'? Are the turns timed?

I like the fact the game is using Vulkan and has a native Linux port (even if it is outdated, they at least tried). As far as I can see, it seems to have proper DRM-free MP as well, which is also nice. I'm not a huge fan of the 'DLC spam' marketing model, but the game seems to have some redeeming features.

Are the maps randomized? If so, that would add quite a bit to the replay value.

It would be nice if you would receive a gift code for a bundled game you already have. So you can at least gift it to someone else.

Yes, except that doesn't do me any good even if it was up to date.

By being relatively simplified/streamlined so you don't have to think as much or move as many units.

If it's a clone of Pandora as claimed above, then yes. I did play that quite a bit for a while...not the most amazing 4X, but decent enough.

Ah ok. So, perhaps closer to Civilization Revolution, than a full-on Civ game?
Great to see another strategy game on giveaway. :)

That's a good comparison. I forgot about revolution. You can have units attack simultaneously. But if you do not like that, they have the option to turn it off.

Yes, the maps are random which is indeed a good thing.

I've had a quick dabble with the introductory mission and it seems pretty decent. I think there's definitely a place for more streamlined 4X games, with minimal micro where you can feasibly play a MP game against someone within 2-3 hours. And that suits 40k pretty well imo. It's probably the closest thing I've seen to a video game version of playing actual 40k (in terms of game length, depth and being turn-based).

It's pretty cool - I definitely want to play some more of it.

My bad. So what are you running Wine in? MacOS? BSD?

Nergal01: Hm....nice discounts on Mechanicus and the DLC. But not on the deluxe editions? Is there a special reason for that, GOG?

Because if I buy Mechanicus, it better include the kick-ass soundtrack.
The price of the Deluxe of the DLC isn't too bad compared to the discounted price... but the Omnissiah missing its discount? Thats a pretty big one that drives it to a crazy amount. Just checked Steam and they've got the proper 80% discount there on the Deluxe editions.

That has to be an accidental miss, so hopefully jumping up and down here will bring it to their attention.
Yeah I noticed that too, and it is a head scratcher.
Heretek+ edition is also missing a discount.

Looks like they've belated added the discount and given a week from when they added it!

Better late than never. :)
Oh, that's good.
Is the soundtrack from Heretek+ Edition the same as the one from Omnissiah, or does it only cover new tracks?

Also, has 1.4 been released yet? I remember a bit of fussing a bit ago that they never updated Mechanicus to 1.4 on the GOG version.

I've always assumed so, everything else would be very weird.

The Linux build was just updated. Most likely they pushed out the Windows version earlier than normal for the Skulls event. The developer otherwise seems to maintain parity between the Windows and Linux versions.
