CARRiON-XCII: Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 are both planned to get remasters, which means they'll probably both be updated to the new Battle.net system, which means they'll never, ever come here or Steam.

I wouldn't be surprised if WC 1 & 2 and Diablo 1 & 2 (original) are released as freeware soon to promote said remasters.

Personally, I really enjoyed the SC Remaster. I'd welcome a WC3 remaster, so what if it doesn't need it? Some slightly nicer looking models would be appreciated by me. Doesn't have to be anything super fancy, just up the detail a little bit more.

You can find it on eBay for much lower price.

Had a shit night so to cheer myself up I bought and downloaded #3 from battle.net. You of course need to log on to download and install the game, but after that, no. No logins, no client, nothing.

THAT MIGHT CHANGE WITH THE REMASTER! :P
