So I see the option to View Profile come up when I place my cursor over the name of a poster here. Is there a way to see your own profile? I noticed under Privacy and Settings that mine was private, so I switched it to everybody (or public or whatever the choice was) and still can't see anything at all when I hover over my name.

Is there a way to see your own just to see what it looks like?

Or is this maybe tied in some way to Galaxy and since I don't have, never have had, and never will have Galaxy maybe that's why I can't see mine?

Edit: I don't know if there's any way to click through to your own profile while logged in. Someone will know.

Heh, thanks. Guess nobody can see their own. Weird.

another idiotic gog decision..
but anyway, enough about me, how are you?
..joking aside, of course you can. make it public and then view it via another browser where you are not logged in. surely that has to work. and if not, and you truly wish to, make a new account and view it "as someone else" with it. obviously so there are no conflicts, the new account should use a different email and even a different browser (or clear all cookies first) and all other things like that. but it is possible, because ultimately you can create a new account and view yourself you you truly want to.
Yes, it's accessible from top panel. See screenshot.

Mine doesn't show that. But I can't get the snipping tool to take a screenshot of it to show you. When I try, as soon as I move the cursor to the snipping tool box to click on "New" the drop down box that you show in your screenshot vanishes. So I'm guessing you used something other than snipping tool and me... I can barely use snipping tool. lol

But I swear, I look at that same box and it has everything the same EXCEPT the view profile option.

I used print screen key. But don't bother, I believe you. It's bugged and sometimes these two menu entries don't appear. Refresh site once or more and it should be there eventually. Assuming you have profile enabled, because right now I don't think you have.
You can always type gog.com/u into your address bar, and that will redirect to your profile if you are logged in.

Snipping tool has a delay precisely for these kind of situations. Set a 5 second delay, press new, then hover and wait for the timer to run out. Or just use regular print screen and paint...

It's called "Your Profile", not "View Profile".

Yeah, I went ahead and disabled it again. And funnily enough, after I did that, now those two options show up. Really weird.
Yeah, now it shows "Activity Feed" and "Profile". I wonder if I turn it back on if it will disappear. Gonna try that.

ADDED: Yep, gone again. Now the first word in that box is GAMES. LOL, I'm not sure Gawd him/her self could figure out GOG's website.

I'd say enable your profile and leave it on for an hour at least. Use https://www.gog.com/u/OldFatGuy if there's no link, but let it be enabled for a while longer, it should sort itself out.

With profile enabled also simply clicking your nickname on top bar takes to profile.

Oh I already disabled it again. I thought that enabling/disabling it was causing the change, but since I just disabled it once again I've seen it change twice already. So it seems to be another gog glitch. Like the purple dot at the top of my screen that never, ever, EVER goes away despite not having posts responded too, despite not even being here for over a year, and even though I'm on a completely different computer now. That purple dot always on makes it useless, so I wish they'd just get rid of it. Always on (or always off) means it doesn't do what it was meant to do so why keep it?

I love GOG, but sometimes I just don't get how.... I dunno,.. lax? they are about the quality of the product they put out before their potential/actual customers.
