I fear that in GOG community nowadays there is too much bashing/negative reviews, much more than before and I fear that many of these may be "interested" (you know what I mean). I would like to see if the reviewer bought the game on GOG, of course if the reviewer agree to show that information, for example by clicking a box.

It would certainly be nice when looking to see if a GOG release is buggy or not. At least a few reviewers are kind enough to preface a review with something along the lines of "I don't own the GOG version but..."
It would be a welcome feature. Vote for it on the wishlist
Some of those reviewers own non-GOG versions. What about them?

They would still be able to review the game. The "verified purchase" indicator would simply act as shorthand for bugs/technical issues mentioned in the review specifically applying to the GOG release.

Off with their heads!!

But seriously, the community can 'fix' this by prefacing their reviews as pointed out above by ZaineH

Agreed.
So, how to tell if that "verified purchase" review is really authentic?

I tend not to trust any "user" reviews and either check out gaming sites for more info or just go with my gut. A lot of the games I own on GOG now I've owned at other times in my life anyway.
