Yup. It gives you the option of choosing light or "Plus" when you run the installer.

Unofficial patch 8.6 now for French & German.Also a possible hotfix may be incoming.

AzureKite: I beat it the first year it came out, so I'm eager to replay it with all the content that has been restored and added. But I guess if I'm to replay it, I'd like to do it when the patch is actually considered finished. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time now, as I had back in the student years. I guess I'll wait a bit longer.
What grviper said. Wesp has been working on this patch for what, 7 years now? 8? If you plan on waiting for his "final" patch, you'll never play the game.

If you need a patch to be "finished", you could always try the other patch out there, Tess's gold patch. Tess and Wesp have the only two patches I know of for the game, so choose one and play!

I'm surprised no one has tried to reboot/kickstart the franchise.
