blotunga: Why would you delete games? If I don't like them I just move them in the DNWTP category.
Because: "OH M GEE! What will others think of me if they notice I have *insert game with 70%+ negative reviews* on my Steam library?!?! I will never get laid or find a job if the world finds out!"

Yeah... I don't know either. People are just never satisfied with what they have.

At long last!

I can delete my copy of The Binding of Isaac! Finally the bestest feature that Valve added to their terrible client in 2015!
But yeah, if this is the bestest feature they added in 2015, that means they're pretty bad at the moment at anything.
I wish I could delete the Aquanox games from my account here on GOG, I wish I had that memory-erase device from Men In Black so I forget I ever purchased those garbage games.

I disagree. They added refunds this year. That's actually pretty badass, as they have one of the best refund policies on the net.

I thought that was last year! Oh right, they're the best things they added this year... but you know, for them to add refunds after that many ages, it makes one skeptical about what other ground breaking features are going to come but only after years of demand.
Wow, I just got rid of like, 20 eyesores.
I think it's a good feature, for some people who want to prune back their games collection. I might even avail myself of this option if I find an absolute stinker, but I don't add every game I don't have in a bundle to Steam. I have a smidge - a modicum of circumspection, and I only add games I think I might like to play.

Even so, my backlog is towering over me.

So, good on Valve for implementing a requested feature, but no, any items of shame will remain at least until I've actually played them. ;)

I'd like an option to permanently delete the DRM. Then I would consider buying games there.

weird. what a strange request. I do not understand.

I can understand from Valve's/publisher's point of view why this is good.

but as a user, you know this is going to shore up bad purchases.
This is great news for someone with ocd.

Now if only we could delete unwanted badges too...
Bad move, a really bad move.......
Next update: adds an option to delete games from your friends's library and to give them Steam cards of them instead.

Heaven forbid people have more options :)

Exactly! There are too many people that live with the OCD nightmare and this option is great for them. Not sure what will happen with deleted games from hacked accounts though. Valve must have had already millions of support tickets for game removals from accounts and I guess that's one good reason to implement this option; no more lost work hours for the support team.

That being said, I can already see them getting a million support tickets for games that got deleted unintentionally or the said user changed their mind and want their game back, haha! :P

I'm proud to second that!
